I don't know what to believe when Bruce Allen talks, I just think he comes off as a nice guy and judge him by how I feel about his hair on any given day.

 

The medical history thing is kinda funny when we look at what happened with a lot of our free agents, especially Tracy Porter who I literally forgot was on the team.  Maybe we need to move the bar a little above "hasn't quite fallen apart yet but give it a minute or so."

 

The thing is that in Tampa his rep was that he wouldn't draft players with injury history, which makes the whole Tracy Porter signing kinda curious.  Maybe it only applies to draft picks and not FA signings?  I don't know, but the fact that medical history is towards the top of the list for Bruce isn't a surprise.

I think some of the signings of late were gambles that just didn't work out, I also think Scot is less of a gambler on that, but maybe gambles size?

Not sure where to post this and not into starting threads if you feel it deserves its own feel free to put it there.

 

On my way into work today I heard a radio interview with Mike Florio and 105.3 The Fan, the home of the Cowboys here in Texas.

 

I have a feeling this is going to get someone we all love (sarcasm) into some legal trouble (Florio) and could spell his own doom. Florio dropped a bombshell that the reason Dez Bryant has not been signed yet is there is a video tape out there that would have "a Ray Rice level impact", and that the video tape is not new and everyone knows about it. 

 

So if you heard today that the NFL was sitting on another domestic violence video after Ray Rice and wasn't doing anything about it and covering it up do you think that's a big deal? I do.

 

Also isn't Florio worried about his own career and getting sued if nothing like that actually exists? Earlier in the week Colin Cowherd said something like if people knew about Dez what the Cowboys know about Dez no one would sign him. I'm guessing this is what he was referring to? Seems like this getting some steam

 

And what does it say about the Cowboys that either this is true and they didn't care and let him play, or the league who didn't investigate once again, or is this just a tactic to get Dez to sign a cheaper deal and hurt his value? This is crazy to me

Can we do the RomoSUCKS and UnWise Mike auto corrects for her? I would love for every time her name is mentioned it gets changed to Smelly Stinkins. Yes, it is immature. But that's kind of the point--she doesn't deserve any better until she writes a different article.

If it doesn't turn out to be true it could be trouble for Florio, people forget that Michael Irvin sued a local TV station down here for a rumor when he was playing and won a million for that. If it means the end of Florio I'm not sure which one I would be rooting for more lol

Probably right. Not saying Snyder being there is a good thing, just that he's not the only owner there and she made it seem like it's not unusual to see owners at the Combine. Now what he is actually doing there could be more of the concern. If Snyder is just there to hang out with McCloughan/Allen, that's fine. But if Snyder is actually giving input/interviewing players, then that's a bit concerning.

A bit steep.  I don't think he's worth that.  Take him out of the Seattle defense with Kam and Earl behind him and him being the guy and I think he'll be exposed a bit.
