NewCliche21
Nathan Fenno @nathanfenno5m After a reporter asked if Mike Shanahan could do anything to stop #Redskins' media leaks, the coach ended his postgame press conference.
SkinfanAZ
Not the best choice of words, champ. I think he hit the nail on the head. It's more nonsense that we as fans don't need to deal with. Keep Mike another year give him the full five and see what he can do.
Boss_Hogg
@Rich_TandlerCSN: I don’t recall Mike Shanahan ever cutting a press conference short. During the week or post game, has always answered every question.
General NSJ
Some reporter asked if there's anything Mike can do to stop all these "reports" from coming out and then he walked off.
Springfield
Do we really care if he walked out on the post game presser or are we just looking for another reason to **** about him? I personally don't care what he has to say so I don't care if he answers 0 question.
#98QBKiller
Hopefully he got word that he was being fired.
Nicealot
The drama on this board is ridiculous. Yes, Shanahan did cut off the post game BUT only after the questions kept shifiting away from the game itself and to his job status. Twice he tried to redirect the reporters' questions...once by saying that he was willing to answer questions about today's Falcons game and the two remaining games...the other saying that he didn't want to talk about job status but football. And, in spite of that, the reporters kept pushing. Shanahan then said "thank you" and walked off. No theatrics, no emotion. Shanahan walking off was totally appropriate. Darc Requiem
Shanny tried his best to be vindicated. In the plus column better d and special teams. Cousins and offense looked sharp, esp first half On the minus side Seven turnovers, failure to adjust to other team's second half adjustment, 2 pt play which by rule will always be second guessed if it fails. We've had the problem for a while now. The same thing happened in the Giants game.
skinswillwin06
So why does the team feel the need to edit the evidence of this?

Disagree that it was appropriate but can't fault him for it. Thanks for actually posting what happened.

DJD2
How is it not the best post...it's true. This team doesn't need drama!!!! Basically the poster is aksing a mod to delete his own "garbage" thread.

TD Riggo
It doesn't look any different from the way a lot of post game pressers have gone. It's not like he never came out to take questions. He obviously wants to get out of there. ANY coach with a 3-11 record would be the same. I don't see a conspiracy here. And he didn't get mad at a question and walk out. TouchdownSkin
Jesus christ, someone delete this thread. More garbage drama - he did NOT walk out on presser, there were no more questions. Jesus christ. You could always choose to not click on the thread.
zoony
It cuts out right before he walks out. What made him leave? Nothing he just cut it short and walked off.

I see what you're saying but because he's a mod, people are supposed to walk on egg shells? He made a good point this is more drama we as fans don't need. GoSkins561
Good for Shanny, I don't blame him. I'm amazed at how many supposed "Redskins Fans" get excited about the DC media trying to stir more drama and poop storms for the team they love. Hopefully Snyder gives him a 2 year extension instead of listening to public opinion.
