d0ublestr0ker0ll
Man, the ingredients were in place for a blizzard. We were primed and ready, it simply missed to the east. You all may be in bad moods today, because granted, it feels like early January in late March, but just realize that it could've been about 7 times as bad. Truly a vicious weather pattern. Judging by the frequency of events, I can see us having the potential for winter weather in April. The record for latest snowfall in DC is April 28th, 1898. We got 0.5". This winter may go for May. Mark The Homer
Good Morning! Temp in upper Montgomery is 16.0 degrees F. I'm pretty sure this is as cold as it's been in several weeks. It's probably colder than it will be again for the next 7-8 months, as we have a warming trend coming. Enjoy.

Forehead
I hope it's done. I signed my daughter up for a mini kids soccer camp that starts this Sunday. I'd like for her to actually get to play.

d0ublestr0ker0ll
Damn, sudden temperature drop in the afternoon here. This wasn't forecasted....was supposed to rain all weekend, and it has, but we are currently at 36 degrees with sleet building up on the deck. 1:15 PM. dfitzo53
Yep, sleet and big wet flakes mixing in here at my parents' place in VA. No accumulations though.
Skins24
Yeah, sleeting here. This was not supposed to happen!
Corcaigh
Hail, sleet and snow out by Leesburg and in Ashburn. Miserable day for the end of March.

dfitzo53
Scratch the previous post. It's full-on snow now that is accumulating on roofs, cars and mulch. Tiny bits of white in the grass, although nothing on the roads yet. d0ublestr0ker0ll/Skins24...any reason to believe this will hamper a trip back to Baltimore in the evening? China
Yeah, snowing here in Falls Church. It's not sticking though.

Poor visibility and slick roads could potentially become a big factor later on. Ice is no joke.
Skins24
Yeah definitely be careful. This wasn't supposed to happen so no roads have been treated I imagine. Temps are started to fall below freezing in many places so there will certainly be slicks spots. *goes back to staring out the window in disbelief*
