Chip Kelly. Any Questions? (merged--put your "Chip Kelly" thoughts in here)

So, I've always been against THursday night games, because they are normally just very ugly displays of football.  Turns out my team stepped it a up a notch and crapped all over themselves.  Any Eagle fan should be worried about several things from last night:

* Oline debacle (primary reason for the loss IMO), specifically Peters is not fully recovered from Achilles injury.

* ST - had done very well up until then

* Team preparedness (all on Kelly)

* Return of turnovers in droves

Terrible display and the EIGHTH straight home loss for the Eagles. How is that even possible?

Wish I had gone to bed at halftime!

ok, so here are my questions-

1) why does chip kelly look like a slightly slimmer chris farley?

2)  is mike vick on IR yet?

3) how happy am i that i started KC defense on my fantasy team?

4) at what point did you regret starting this thread?

5) related to question 4, are you pre mature in all aspects of your daily life, or just the football related ones?

6) where have you been?

Vick was speeding test-driving cars before the game today apparently:

(Not that I find it compelling evidence of a bad approach on his part, necessarily.  Except the speeding at 150, he's trying to be the next Albert Haynesworth?)

Where's the media outrage? If Robert does'nt smile when asked about the coaches the media (and some ES posters) automatically assume Robert hates the coaching staff.

Donovan McNugget ripped Chip Kelly a new a-hole last night by slamming the "high tempo" offense. I just thought it was funny that your number gets retired, then you turn right around and crap on the team.

Number shouldn't have been retired anyway, talk about mediocrity.

That's why Donovan was never embraced in Philly.  He has that passive-aggressive side of him that irritates the crap out of people.

Still, he had an incredible amount of success (thanks to AR, IMO), and we Philly fans will long for the days, if we don't already, of heartbreaking losses in NFCCG.  Crudely put, getting "some" from a 6 on a regular basis is better than celibacy.  :)

i have some more questions.

1) given the success of the 'hump day' commercial, how do you think geico follows that up?

2) would you rather have as your next coach a) an offensive specialist college coach who dresses like a pirate in his spare time? or, b ) a defensive specialist with NFL experience with a wicked foot fetish?

3) as the philadelphia eagles owner, does jeffrey lurie require his head coaches to be pudgy, white guys who appear to have a slight learning disability? if so, would he be interested in greg schiano were he to become available by seasons end?

4) bacon or sausage with breakfast?

5) bacon or sausage on your pizza? (you may only choose one)

6) assuming you were clothed, did you change your shorts immediately following lesean mccoy going down, or did you wait til after the game?

Nothing earth shattering, it was more of a passive aggressive **** slap to Chip Kelly.

“I don't know if any offensive player would want to run 90 plays in a game," he told CSNPhilly.com. "If you're running 90 plays in a game, that means your defense is pretty awful and you're running entirely too many plays. At Oregon, [Kelly] may have ran 75 plays in a game, but you're not going to run 85, 90, not in the NFL, and teams and defensive coordinators are a lot better than what you're going to see in college.”
