Terminal is definitley one of my favorite maps ever. Mw2 had a great map lineup. Unfortunately I've heard the map design has changed philosophies in mw3, which is not good to hear. I don't want instant 1 shot kills from sniper rifles, if they hit in the leg then it's not a kill, but what I don't want is the guns from Black Ops where the AK with an ACOG was a better sniper rifle than a .50 cal. A head shot should be a kill, no matter what the weapon, and the .50 should kill with 1 shot if it hits the body, if it hits a limb, well I can see someone surviving. Black Ops was messed up, I unloaded four .50 cal rounds center mass on one guy running towards me, and finally put him down with a pistol shot to the leg. I just want something more in tune with reality I guess, bigger gun with bigger bullets should in theory make a bigger hole and kill a guy faster, but in Black Ops, it seemed to be the opposite, the smaller the gun the more deadly it was. Quickscoping has to be the dumbest thing ever, it's people taking advantage of the computers auto aim feature that IMO is pretty lame. It took me about 3 minutes to get quick scoping down, so it is not even a skill I respect since it is not that hard to do. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'll be at Gamestop soon. Anyone rolling with the support or specialist pointstreaks? I assume pointstreaks on objective based games are nifty. Cap a lot of flags, get your streaks. Sounds good. sportjunkie07 Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 as much as i rag on COD games sometimes, they are still super fun. i enjoyed learning how to play COD with Black Ops. all the little techniques that make you good at the game. i still run around like an idiot too much, but its fun sometimes. ive been rolling with akimbo scorpions and decoys lately, just terrorizing the opponents. its really fun to enforce your will on the other team. I can't wait to get home and play this. AngryChessie you should definitley party up with the ES crew on 360, we have a blast.I doubt the riotshield will be in the game, but some of the most fun I've had was when 6 of us would go riotshields in the airplane on terminal. who's in the crew? TJ, Vishal? which version of MW3 did you get? ive been trying to just focus on my work, but i think im gonna have to give this game (and BF3) a shot. that riotshield business sounds fun.. i saw a video with everyone on the team using decoys and smg's. so funny, the other guys were pissed and kept leaving the game, they had no idea where people were coming from. DCSaints_fan Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 Sounds like you were pretty bad. I'm referring to single player ... I never went online. I've played COD1 and COD2 on the PC. There, I actually felt compelled to aim and avoid friendly-fire. With MW2, I just burst into a room, spray and pray. The enemies have god-like reaction time an accuracy, they respawn an indefinitely until you reach the objective, and it doesn't matter if you kill your own squadmates at all, so this effective tactic, and the only one I found that worked. There was nowhere to hide 90% of the time so you also do alot of running around ("run and gun"). If MW3 is more of the same, I'll pass. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
