You couldn't pay me to hit it. The absurd length of her arms, couped with her spindly legs, makes me feel very uncomfortable. To call someone retarded is to call them less intelligent...which mentally retarded people are by definition. To call something gay or to call someone a 'f word' (if you catch my drift) is to imply that being homosexual is negative, so I see how people are offended by that. I think that cuss words have a certain punch to them that is difficult to replace. I do think that racial slurs are in a different category. I would make Palin Pyle and Colter Pee Wee Herman. Colter isn't "brilliant" at anything. She's a dim witted angry broad who spews venom at people for shiny coins. She is transparent and vapid. Her sole claim to credibility comes from her academic pedigree which is hollow set up against a professional career which spans decades and amounts to a series of odd postings. Colter was gone from each position when her employers found out that (a) she wasn't doable, ( they didn't actually want to do her. ( I will also note that some folks think Palin is "brilliant" because she stepped away from the Alaska Governors office in favor of a public speaking position. She wasn't brilliant; she went after the money; and it worked out well for her. Dumb luck.. ) Coulter and Pallin are both clowns. Not even folks on the right take them seriously. My best friend at the time never got enough of battling with her - it bored me after a while because it was clear that she was just playacting a lot of what she was saying. I haven't talked with her in over a decade, and she would probably have to be reminded who I was before she would remember me now. Colter isn't "brilliant" at anything. She is not sincere, and everything she does is calculated, but she is quite smart. Her incendiary baloney has allowed her to sell millions of books to the faithful. Palin is not even close in being in Coulter's league, intelligence-wise. Coulter understands every public and foreign policy issue, and she throws bombs because she wants to. Actually, I think the point is this (from Sarah Palin's point of view) If a prominent liberal like Rahm Emmanuel says someone is "a retard," a full and immediate apology is required, and maybe they should even be fired.
