StillUnknown
Michael Lee @MrMichaelLee Can confirm that Bradley Beal has been experiencing some soreness in his right leg & got checked out today. Can't speculate on rest #wizards Have we seen this movie before? Leading the NBA in minutes played coming off an injury, that Wittman/Grunfeld duo is a dream. Warhead36
Yeah if Beal is out extended time I'm basically done with sports until Spring Training.
Going Commando
Damn. That really sucks about Beal. I wonder if he's been hurting the past several games? We don't have anyone to replace Beal. Ariza will probably be rushed onto the floor and play big minutes. We'll be getting to see a lot of Garrett Temple.
Destino
This news makes me so mad. What did Washington do to anger the universe?
Skin'emAlive
Its like every single freaking person watching this team saw this coming except the ones who are actually in charge. Am i taking crazy pills here!!!?? i mean not even like we just thought maybe it could happen. We KNEW this would happen if we played our starters too long. Its a goddamn certainty! Hell, ESPN even had a Beal interview talking about his huge minutes this year. ESPN. Wizards.

This is what makes no sense to me. I think we all saw this coming a mile away. Well, everyone except for the Wizards FO. It's a joke.
Going Commando
Is it a stress injury? I forgot what the original injury was.

Going Commando
While it'll be hard to replace Beal, the team shouldn't go into the crapper like they would without Wall. Martell is going to have to come up big for us. He's going to have to find his range from 3 like last year or we're going to have a drop off. Beal was automatic from 3. He was shooting .439 from three as opposed to .407 from the field and he made almost 3 a game. Yep. A stress injury. Do you remember if it was a knee injury? Wall's stress fracture in his knee took like four or five months to heal...
Sticksboi05
A couple weeks is better than a couple months. But he is playing 40 a night coming off injury, not smart to begin with. It's too bad we have zero bench.
Going Commando
It might not be just a couple of weeks though. The team has a habit of underselling the length of recovery time. Wall and Porter were initially only supposed to be out for a little while and both were out for months.
Going Commando
Thank God we have Wall at any rate. If he keeps going off like he has the past two games, we'll get enough from the backcourt to win. If he gets hurt, we're done for. 20 PPG is going to have to be made up somehow. Nene and Gortat are going to have to do a lot more scoring.
G.A.C.O.L.B.
At what point does DC sports start getting official curse talk? I know my screen name on here is an ode to a Bullets curse but that's more a joke (come up with by Tony K) than something real. Or it was anyway. But I mean goddamn...the only thing to top this year off is if Bryce Harper fractures his hip in a spring training game.

The Wizards don't have enough players to field a team, let alone start dealing. Edited November 26, 2013 by Lombardi's_kid_brother
Rocky21
A couple of weeks? Oh ****. Can Ariza or Webster play the 2?
RonArtest15
I'm guessing that Webster moves over to the 2. Makes our bench even worse.
No Excuses
Webster played 2 last year at times. Probably better than any bench option...
RonArtest15
Webster played 2 last year at times. Probably better than any bench option... So, what do we do about the bench? Beal is out 2 weeks according to the team. Link here
G.A.C.O.L.B.
So, what do we do about the bench? Beal is out 2 weeks according to the team. Link here Anyone who believes that--that he's out just two weeks--hasn't paid attention to the Wizards for the last decade.
RonArtest15
Trust me bro...I don't even think it's gonna be anywhere close to 2 weeks. If we see him back in January, it would be a miracle.
