BRAVEONAWARPATH
While it'll be hard to replace Beal, the team shouldn't go into the crapper like they would without Wall. Martell is going to have to come up big for us. He's going to have to find his range from 3 like last year or we're going to have a drop off. Beal was automatic from 3. He was shooting .439 from three as opposed to .407 from the field and he made almost 3 a game. Do you remember if it was a knee injury? Wall's stress fracture in his knee took like four or five months to heal... Beal's was in his lower leg. The "new" injury is in his upper leg. No Excuses
So, what do we do about the bench? Beal is out 2 weeks according to the team. Link here I would play Glenn Jr. But we probably see lots of Temple smh.
BRAVEONAWARPATH
Michael Lee @MrMichaelLee2m #wizards feel good that they caught Bradley Beal's injury early. Last setback in right fibula kept him sidelined for nearly 4 months
abdcskins
Somehow I'm not surprised. Incompetency on this team extends from the top to bottom- owner to training staff. Losing Beal is a common thing.
SuperBash
Ok, what guards have been lighting up the d-league? We could use a buy-low scoring guard and try to catch some lighting in a bottle for a few weeks. Probably not realistic but it can't hurt to try. I mean, it feels like we have 3 or so true guards and 693 SG/SF/PF hybrid type players
Lombardi's_kid_brother
2 weeks in Wizards time means early February, right?
Destino
2 weeks in Wizards time means early February, right? Well Otto Porter has been listed as day-to-day for 2 months so I imagine Beal will be back for the start of next season.
Sticksboi05
How can the medical staff suck for so long? It really makes you wonder...
LetMeSeeYourWarFace21
Dam man, I was looking forward to tonights game against the Lakers. Not saying we cant win without Beal, but it's most likely going to be that much harder.
endzone_dave
It almost smells like BS. Always have one of your best players out with a long term, mysterious injury, keep losing and get high draft picks.
CRobi21
Who wants to bet that since Beal is out, theyll rush Otto back only get him hurt in the same way...
abdcskins
Wizards are favored by 5 points tonight. Makes me think the Lakers are gonna win...
Destino
The concern with Beal's injury, for me, is that the kid is fragile. He's young and getting a lot of these stress/over use injuries. This is his second in a little over one season in the NBA. Last year he also battled ankle injuries and bumps and bruises associated to his amazing ability to land flat on his back after driving to the rim. If you think about how he plays he really doesn't take a lot of punishment, it's not like he's playing DWade style shooting guard. Remember what Kobe's game looked like early in his career? He was at the rim constantly. Beal has been much more of a finesse player and he's piling up the injuries. Hopefully this is just bad luck and he manages to avoid missing time regularly. TradeTheBeal!
Tough crowd in here. This is the preseason, the "real" season starts on Xmas. Beal will be ready. So....Rice gonna get some burn tonight? Maybe?

StillUnknown
Out of town for the next few days, thankfully NBA TV is carrying this one. Streaming sites are usually a few minutes behind live play.
LetMeSeeYourWarFace21
Dammit man, between the Shannys running multiple designed QB run plays per drive and the Wizards running Beal into the ground, my DC teams are determined shorten the careers of our best players. Going Commando
No 3 point attempts so far. Ball is moving. Nene is going off. All good shots so far. Awful call on Wall.
abdcskins
How many ****in threes are the Lakers gonna hit? Wizards shooting hot. Bad charge called against Wall there.
StillUnknown
Impressed that we're still up despite the Lakers shooting so well from 3. Can't imagine they sustain their current shooting rate from deep, if the bench doesn't fall on its face, we should win this one.
Going Commando
The three ball has kept LA in this game so far. Gonna have to start chasing them off the line. Nice block from Vesely. So far I like what Nene, Wall, and Gortat have done offensively. Gortat is really starting to find his range on his jumper and he looks a lot more fluid with his PnR finishing. abdcskins
Nice block by Vesely there. First quarter the Wizards were moving well on offense, I was impressed. Lots of cuts to the rim. ridiculous shot by Webster
