No Excuses
I love our draft. Athletic, good defenders, high potential. No more Larry Owens or other garbage at the 3 spot.
RichmondRedskin88
I wouldn't mind Justin Harper or Charles Jenkins either. I will vouch for Jenkins. I've watched that guy many times with him being in VCU's conference. The guy is all class and never stops hustling. We wouldn't regret taking him. Trust me. Going Commando
I love our draft. Athletic, good defenders, high potential. No more Larry Owens or other garbage at the 3 spot. I give this draft an A given the context. We went BPA at each spot and got a guy who fits, is going to make the roster, and who we don't have to trade someone for them to get on the floor. That's a lot more than you can say for picks 2-5. We also didn't make a knee jerk trade to move up for a mediocre prospect and lose JaVale or something like that. Vesely can hopefully become a scorer and Singleton gives us the ability to defend LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. We got two guys who makes sense. I'd have preferred Kanter or Valanciunas at 6 but Vesely was my third choice and he was the best one left.
Fergasun
Boo! This guy sucks! Oh, we didn't draft Tommy Lee Jones?
RichmondRedskin88
Ok so Jenkins is the way to go if we want a physical never stop hustling guy vs Mack who is deadly 3 pt shooter and can drive the lane. Jenkins loves to create contact.

RonArtest15
Agree w. both SM & Vishal... I'm liking the picks. Sure, I would have preferred Kanter...but we walked away w. Singleton at #18, which is an absolute steal. A guy COMMITTED to playing defense. I love the chip on his shoulder. Training camp is going to be fun to watch because of some of the position battles. Out of curiosity, is Vesely projected as a 4? ***PLEASE take Jeremy Tyler*** OK! Not mad at the Mack pick.... No Excuses
Shelvin Mack is the pick for us. I like it. Get another shooter to pair with Young, or insurance if Nick leaves in FA.

Going Commando
Mack has a 6-8 wingspan and 8-1 standing reach? That's pretty awesome. Man, I'm really liking this draft. All of these guys are going to make our team.

Sticksboi05
Wizards have had a good draft. So far, that's three teams in D.C. that show they actually care about improving.

No Excuses
We added: A high potential SF A defensive stud A good shooter, utility offensive player. I love the overall athleticism and size. If McGee can grow a ****ing brain, the sky is the limit for this squad.

RichmondRedskin88
Shelvin Mack is a shooter who can shoot from anywhere. He can shoot a deep 3 on the run if he wants. He'll be a outside threat for the Wiz. He crushed my VCU Rams hopes of a National championship in the F4
No Excuses
On a grading scale of A to F what would you give this draft for the DC Wizards To the context of our needs, an A. On the overall talent, a B. Despite being an awful rebounder and FT shooter, I like Vesely. His weaknesses are correctable. You can't teach his athleticism.
