We had all these:

Life moved a lot slower back then.

I know,, i had all that stuff too, and I still do. But having the world right at your fingertips instantly 24/7

Man, how'd we manage to live without this?

Well video games wasn't on there, so my vote was for other, which is sex. I don't function very well without it.

I met my wife online, so that was handled as well! :ols:

Seriously, now that I think about it, practically 95% of my business is online, I do a ton of business with people thousands of miles away that I've never met, I met my wife online, I re-mortgaged my house and pay my bills online, I bank online, I shop online..

Practically my whole life is online or a product of the internet.

I like all of these things but I don't need them to survive. I'm surprised the list is so shortsighted...most people in America would have a great difficulty living normally without their cars. We aren't a country that is very friendly to public transportation or alternative methods such as bicycles.

What do I need to survive? Well beyond the obvious food, shelter, water, thing I wouldn't want to live without my soon to be wife.

But what if I can't download a knife, or bid for a nice one on eBay? I'm sunk!
