REDSKINS MAKE ROSTER MOVES

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed fullback Eddie Williams to their 53-man roster and tackle Clint Oldenburg to their practice squad.

Williams, who the Redskins selected in the seventh round (221st overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft, spent the first eight weeks of season on the team’s practice squad.

Oldenburg was most recently a member of Minnesota’s practice squad from Oct. 14, 2009 to Oct. 17, 2009 after spending training camp with the Denver Broncos.

Originally drafted by the New England Patriots in the fifth round (171st overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft, Oldenburg started his career on the Patriots’ practice squad before being released on Sept. 19, 2007 and signing with the New York Jets’ practice squad on Sept.20, 2007. Oldenburg was elevated to the Jets 53-man roster on Dec. 19, 2007 and saw action in the final two regular season games, making his NFL debut at Tennessee (12/23/07).

After spending training camp with the Jets, Oldenburg spent the final 11 weeks of the 2008 season as a member of the St. Louis Rams practice squad.

Born September 9, 1983 in Gillette, Wyo., Oldenburg played at Colorado State, where he saw action in 36 games with 34 starts.

It helps in so much as Vinny adding another letter to his own death warrant he's formulating.

9 more games man.

9 more games.

Hail.

im counting the day. most painful season ever.

It just allows Vinny to point to another draft pick of his being on the 53 man roster.

lol, this is probably the most true statement so far. so on vinnys show he can say how his whole draft class made the team. lol

What we have been waiting for. Getting a high profile Offensive Lineman. Plus bringing up a true offensive threat.

Cerrato - What's that spell? - Idiot. Does this guy just sit around thinking of things to do that are more baffling than the last thing he did or is he just especially gifted?
