Watching the last two episodes of ROH. Their main event picture is in great shape.

Lethal, Styles, Briscoe, Strong, Moose, Elgin, Cole...

Castle up and coming... And I can't say enough about their booking of Moose and Castle.

My favorite tag team in wrestling in War Machine.

They make a lot out of a little. I just wish I could watch LU. ROH and LU might replace WWE for me.

50/50 booking finally caught up to them. SCSA said it on his podcast. Wins and losses don't matter. The guys see themselves as entertainers and for me, it's boring

I can't be bothered. Probably will let go of the network soon

Indeed. The only way to fix it is to not have Vince in the picture. The only way.

I pay for the network, but don't watch much of it. But I love the content, just never have the time.

I am going to their TV taping here in Charlotte in a few weeks. Everyone will be there since I believe they tape four episodes.

I have not been to anything wrestling related in a looooooong time. But I am looking forward to it.

Might pick up the network again. As I have saux time and again, I largely stopped watching WWE because of Cena's mainstream push (had just beaten the Big Show for the US Title at WM XX and was starting to get gigantic pops from the crowd

I understood the vaccuum left behind by Rock, Austin, Lesnar (top guy on the Smackdown brand at the time), the neutering of Booker T, and Goldberg, but I HATED Cena. Just would not accept it.

But I regret missing out on guys like Michaels, Angle, Eddie G, JBL, Batista, Edge, and Randy Orton

Eh, it's just fake entertainment. I get in moods where I'll watch it every week, then I get bored and stop for a while. It is kind of dull right now, but you gotta remember that Rollins injury threw them for a loop instantly and the holidays are coming up. I'm not going to get all worked up over whether or not it's great. It's usually programming when I have nothing else to watch. Kind of like watching Roadhouse or Commando for the one millionth time.

Phew. AWA has to be pretty dire at that point, right?

Is a "green as grass" Steve Austin on those GWF shows?

Austin's career is actually pretty bizarre when you think about. There was not a moment in his career where he didn't come across as an upper midcarder who was soon going to be a main event guy......right up until the moment he goes to WWF as The Ringmaster. A few months in that gimmick and he looks like he's going to be a low midcarder for life, and that his moment has passed.

And then - seemingly out of nowhere - he becomes Stone Cold and within a few months is the biggest star in wrestling history.

(Just as a comparison, Hulk Hogan was pretty much always a main event guy. In the old WWWF, he either worked with Andre and lost - which was no big deal as Andre was unbeatable - or with Backlund and usually won by Countout or DQ or something screwy. His problem was that the territories didn't quite know what to do with him. He was a bigger than everyone and more charismatic than everyone and a better talker than pretty much everyone....but guys that size couldn't really be face champions in Georgia or Memphis or Florida, because what do you do with him? Could, like, Buzz Sawyer really get the better of Hogan enough to get enough heat? Jerry Lawler actually went over Hogan, because Memphis fans believed anything that involved Lawler. The AWA made sense because it was a big territory in big cities with pretty big stars - in size and recognition. You could believe that heel Bockwinkle could both out-wrestle and out cheat Hogan. You could believe that Jerry Blackwell could hurt him. Ken Patera could be stronger. You could probably even have built up Brad Rheingans enough for a short program where you could see him tying up Hulk on the mat or something. But Verne didn't have the vision. Vince figured out the formula).

Nevermind.

Was I the only one who was hoping Spike Dudley was going to be the one to come out to fight with the Dudley Boyz this past week on RAW?

And I'm really interested to see the direction WWE goes in whenever Vince steps down. HHH is doing great things with NXT.

I remember a random promo he gave towards the end of his run in WCW where he referenced a "metamorphosis" that would result in him becoming world champion. Even when he was TV chanp, he seemed like a guy destined for big things.

I do think it's much easier to do what he's doing in NXT.

But I've always wondered if Vince is envious of all the praise NXT gets vs the beatdowns the main product gets on every level. Because he certainly doesn't seem like taking cues from NXT other than poaching talent.

He looks like a bad Reno magician.

Is it a comedy gimmick?

Not really. I mean it's over the top but he is considered "a threat"

In WWE, he'd be Fandango

I do think it's much easier to do what he's doing in NXT.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that is part of it
