A long, LOOONNNG time ago, forget where the galaxy was, I wore the B&G. And was proud to do so.

Here are a couple of pix as proof:

It was our big rivalry game, hence the facepaint. That's me circa 1977 or 78 <shudder>. For those of you keeping score at home, that's slightly longer than half of ES' members have been alive.

Damn.

Getting ready to bring it as one of the standup DE's in our 2-5-just run around and try to tackle somebody defense. Kind of a hybrid really -

Last but not least, pimping the Kong's Market sponsor windbreaker (dig the red cleats):

I don't really think it's fair that my glory years were between 11 and 13 years old but that's just the way it is...

The galaxy was far, far away. ;)

Here's an older shot of Tarhog, PCS & myself at Hogfest 2004

Shortly thereafter, a slightly drunken PCS came from outta nowhere with a bear hug that spilled the scared Jack Daniels on my white #28 jersey. That evening after getting home, I discovered just how great Woolite is at removing bourbon stains from a white jersey. :)

Nice, pg. You two make a cute couple. What's with the B&W, though? Sort of looks like a casino lounge in Pleasantville. :D

Haha. It is actually her photo and she tried to add some effects to it for her photobook or whatever. Making it look like an old photo but I didn't like the outcome all that much and decided that B and W looked better.

Good to know. I'll file that one away for future reference. This day in question is one I believe I've heard mentioned before: the fifth of Jack in 10 minutes outing? :)

One of these days, God willing, we'll have to reprise it or something like it- despite what my doctor says I'm positive my liver's got enough gas left in it to weather at least one more of "those" parties - ;)

Is that your old man's shadow taking a picture of his son taking a leak by the tree? :)

OLS. That would be my Grandma - and the set of the shoulders DOES look a lot like I'm letting one fly, doesn't it? Weird. All these years and that's the first time I've noticed that. For the record, however, let's just say my pre- and in-game bathroom rituals leaned more toward "Stinky" Schlereth than not...

Why I outta - :hammer:

It was the RoadRunners, damnit.

and they beat us by a TD. heartbreaking.

sorry bout that, I just had to. ;)

btw, a team called the Road Runners was one of our main rivals in basketball when I was in elementary school. The other one: the Wet Bandits. Home Alone was popular then. lol.gif

And BRD- those pop warner pics might be most awesomest of all pics in the Show yourselves threads :notworthy
Seconded.

We were the NY Giants in little league. We had really cool helmets - NY with the line under the Y ya know. And they were really shiny. We came in first place. I played halfback. Bay beee.

This was playing little league football in Bremerhaven, Germany when I was, you know, 12 or 13. So that's my excuse. Don't ban me!
