Some of the callers that call in to ESPN 980 DON'T need to be calling!!! Its as if they haven't even thought about what they were going to say when they call in. Also, the people that speak low and soft spoken who exagerate sharp sounding letters like "T" sound like disgusting pervs and should call either!!!

'91 they went 1-3, but I believe it was the 83 Super Bowl where they had a HORRIBLE preseason...

The Lions were 4-0 last preseason before going 0-16 during the regular season. The Ravens were 1-3 last preseason before going 11-5 and going to the AFC Championship. The Patriots went 0-4 last preseason before going 11-5 WITHOUT Tom Brady. I wonder if that means we should take the preseason with a grain of salt?

It doesn't mean crap. We started hot in the preseaon last year and fell off. Then the regular season started with a God awful start and then the team went 6-2 in the first half. After which they went 2-6. So perhaps the preseason was a good indicator. But in all seriousness, players admit that they aren't playing at nearly the same level they play during the regular season. Doesn't mean anything to me IMO. -
