Spaceman Spiff
Thinking of songs that aren't mainstream by well known bands/artists. Jig-Saw Puzzle by the Rolling Stones is one of my favorites. High Plains Drifter, Egg Man and 3 Minute Rule by the Beastie Boys off the Paul's Boutique album. The whole Paul's Boutique album, actually. I don't think they had a single off it. Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix...not the album, but the title track. Saw Red by Sublime. Gwen Stefani and Bradley Nowell on vocals Of Wolf and Man by Metallica, the black album
zoony
"1983" by Jimi Hendrix... one of his best songs, and nobody has heard of it for some reason. Also, "Low Light" by Pearl Jam is :notworthy . Actually, everything they've done since 'Ten' (an album I cannot stand) is awesome... it's just that they don't make videos anymore. *edit* whoops... typo meant to type a 3, typed a 4. I'm getting lazy on the edits, that's the 3rd this week  .....

Mr. Nostril
I Am Waiting - Rolling Stones That was absolutely the first one that came to my head. Radiohead has a lot of great one's no one's heard unless they own the albums. Motion Picture Soundrack, Climbing up the Walls, Let Down, Electioneering, Where I end and you begin, Wolf at the door. I don't think Lucifer by Jay-Z got any airplay and it's one of the best tracks on the black album. I don't really listen to hip-hop Radio. I could be wrong Family Business - Kanye West(I suppose my comments about hip-hop radio apply here too) Perfect Circle - R.E.M(really all of REM's first two albums) The Who - Dr. Jimmy Oh and I'm totally with spiff on Paul's Boutique too. The whole Paul's Boutique album, actually. I don't think they had a single off it. Eggman is hands down my favorite Beastie song. Another "unknown" song I love is Release by Pearl Jam and Lounge Act by Nirvana.

Commander PK
I have always liked "Beautiful Girls" off of Van Halen II. The quintessential beach bum tune. How that song wasn't a mainstream hit, I'll never know.
