As I wake this morning having gone through 2 surgeries to clean out pneumonia from around my lungs, having an MS head ache leaving me feeling like I should be shedding some unholy fire through the room and knowing it is the mundane Charlie horse muscle cramp in my thigh that woke me, all I can think of is an old snl bit:

No one else wants to say it, but I will at this point: polling is useless! I've been yelling it on the board for years, guys. Stop looking at the polls and look at election results. The GOP won in 2016...thats it. They have one victory with Trump, they've never repeated or come close.

Tomlin has been there since 2007. Their GM, Khan, has been GM since 2022 and had more minor roles before that. Tomlin is practically royalty there compared to Khan. I doubt Khan got promoted to the GM job by saying "I'm the draft guy now, I make the decisions". And yeah they picked the wrong year to draft a QB. Again, I'm not saying I'd fire him. I'm just saying that if I'm ownership I'd want to hear what his long term plan is at QB, because signing a 35 year old Wilson to a 1 year vet min deal and then spending peanuts on castoff bust Fields is basically a "let's hold on for this year and then just hope something better comes along at some point" plan.

Steelers are getting dissatisfied with Tomlin not winning a playoff game since 2016. Another season without a playoff win and Steelers may make a change.

The cult in Midsommar was about the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. I wish they had all jumped off that rock ledge. 😆 Seriously though, not one character or line that is worth remembering in my opinion. Just cookie cutter young people doing dumb **** that they justified because “hey…cult!” I think Ari Aster is a bit too clever for his own good. His films are not nearly as smart as they think they are. Dude just put out a three hour bomb with Joaquin Phoenix. Reminds me of a guy named M Knight. I expect a similar career trajectory.

The local DC stations are airing ads for races in Maryland (senate, primary I presume between Trone and his democratic rival) and now West Virginia ads with Chris Miller who was complaining about wokeness in a governor campaign. It's May. I'm just trying to watch hockey. Get this stuff off my TV. I also do not live in either state so neither ad applies to me.

My mom (who is on SS, Medicare, and a breast cancer survivor) said to me "Well, I was doing better when trump was president". Then I had to launch. "IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU OR ME, IT'S ABOUT THE COUNTRY! Oh, by the way, he'll take your scarce income and healthcare away from you if you let him...but don't listen to me..." I swear...there is very little to enjoy in this life anymore.
