Voted other...reason being: Tesla's Psychotic Supper.

It's an incredible album that covers some country, metal, rock, stoner rock, and everything in between. It's raw and slammin'. Still listen to it at least once a month to this day. It's the album, along with VHI, that I really cut my teeth on guitar.

I had no idea that Ricky Martin was around since 1991.

Anyway, I vote other. Fear by Toad the Wet Sprocket came out that year and has classics like All I Want and Walk on the Ocean.

@zoony is a great resource for all things Ricky Martin.

Nevermind.  A top 10 album all time for me and possibly the most influential album of all time.  Plus there aren't many others with album art as recognizable.

I went with it, too.  Really hard for me to pick between that, Black Album, Blood Sugar Sex Magick, and Ten.

Yeah, I'll go with Nevermind (even though I loved Soundgarden's BadMotorFinger and Achtung Baby is one of U2's least annoying albums).

Just remember being blown away by young David Grohl on drums. Cobain and Novoselic were lucky to have him.

A great album, but "possibly the most influential album of all time"? Led Zeppelin 4 says hello.

Ricky Martin was ONLY around in 1991.....  did he ever release another song?

What did 4 do?

Was it the spearhead of a paradigm shift in the popular music of the time?

What did 4 DO? Ever hear of a little number called 'Stairway to Heaven"? Every other track on that album is legendary as well.

Don't even try to start a Nirvana vs Zeppelin argument. Nirvana had one impressive album, Zeppelin had 7, at least (1 through Presence),

Plus Zeppelin blew Nirvana off stage as a live band. Just because they were a 70s band, an era you appear to be unfamiliar with, doesnt mean

they weren't any good.

Anthrax - Attack of the Killer B's.  I went on to like SG, PJ, RHCP and Temple better but I played the heck out of Killer B's during that time.  "Bring the Noise" was Rap/Metal done right.

As far as rap goes I'll give a shout out to the Geto Boys - We Can't Be Stopped.  Geto Boys were one of my favs from that time.

Guilty pleasure from that year would be Spin Doctors - Pocket Full of Kryptonite.
