Peregrine
Reduced from the 16 game suspension Mara lobbied for...After planting the evidence last training camp.
TysonM
This is from last year's training camp [2014], so don't assume he got busted again.
nemocystem
C'mon guys....it happened last year on the 1st night of TC. It was a possession charge. He was impressively contrite at that time. He has done nothing on or off the field since to suggest he hasn't corrected the behavior. His appeal was decided a week after Le'Veon Bell was suspended 4 games for almost exactly the same thing at almost exactly the same time. Pleasantly surprised he only got 1 game. This is a non-story...take your 1 game, & get back to work son.

Morrison J
Stretchered off during 2nd day of training camp. This suspension mightn't mean much after all unfortunately.
s0crates
Stretchered off during 2nd day of training camp. This suspension mightn't mean much after all unfortunately. There was a thread about the injury, but it was improperly titled and thus locked. The injury doesn't look good: https://mobile.twitter.com/dckerNBC4/status/627211349886697472 I hope he's okay. I think he was our best corner last season.

theTruthTeller
I can't get the video to play, but I'm not sure I want to see it from the descriptions. Maybe its not a bad as it sounds. Edit: Just saw video. I don't think we'll be seeing BB for awhile. Tragic.

nemocystem
Bell got three games, but had two charges against him - possession and DUI. Wasn't it reduced to 3? & i believe the qualifier i used is sufficient.
Leonard Washington
One game seems odd. Is that due to the new CBA?
theTruthTeller
Wasn't it reduced to 3? & i believe the qualifier i used is sufficient. His appeal has not been heard yet. My point was that Bell's punishment was more because he was driving at the time. LeGarrette Blount, who was a passenger in the car, got a one game suspension. RandyHolt
yeah we are screwed 3 times, the suspension, the injury, and then the suspension will be withheld until he is eligible and able to return, causing him to miss one extra game. Heh, maybe through blind luck that extra week off would be good....
carex
considering this is at the start of camp that's not that bad. Get his suspension served while he's still hurt maybe
