moondog Posted September 21, 2014 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Hall may not be having a great year but he's easily the second best corner on the team. There is a decent drop off behind him unless Breeland really steps up quickly. Hall also has a nose for the football. More so than any other player on our team. Even today he forced a fumble and recovered another. That will certainly be missed. He's also our best tackling corner. Even if his play declined slightly from last year he is still a very important piece to our defense and it sucks to lose him. As the injuries continue to mount guys like Porter need to find a way onto the freaking field. We've had some really bad luck the last two weeks. Unless they don't like him at all, which I doubt since they kept around as long as they did. Â Minnifield is still on PS while, Crawford was let go from the PS. Seriously?  I don't know, but I'd rather they were out for the season instead.  Hall was our #1 CB, and he was playing his ass off for us. I was all in for Chase when we signed him as an undrafted free agent but he was getting burnt by back ups in the preseason. The injuries have sapped all of his speed.
