What makes you think 10 million bot accounts isn't a problem?

What makes you think problems with bots can only be measured in quantity and not in amount and types of damage caused?

Youre  working hard to create straw-man arguments.

It’s not a bot “problem”, it’s a bot “feature”.  And Musk was well aware of it before he decided to put on his clown shoes for the Maga set.

Yes he was. So why did Twitter give him an out by filing SEC documents that said it wasn’t a problem?

I legit had one of the smartest assholes in the building walk into my office read my screen without asking and comment that Musk is a ****ing genius.

adds very little to the discussion but I thought I would share. Also he read CousinsCowgirl and immediately thought i was looking as something porn related. Which was fun AND confusing.

This must mean you hadn't considered how bots could be considered a "problem" outside of "5% isn't that many". It also means you're trying to use a past response of mine back towards me lol...

Here's a few more mind-benders for you: What if bots only make up 5% of Twitter accounts but make up 25% of tweets?...What if 90% of misinformation tweets are created and/or spread by bots? Is that a problem?

it means 1)Twitter claimed it has less than 5 percent bots 2)Twitter needs prove that in court or Elon potentially has an out. 3) I’m a fast learner.

any other whatabout dance you want to do your welcome to do by yourself.  I agree that if 4 percent agree of bots spread 90 percent of the mis information that’s a problem, but we aren’t discussing twitters problem, we are discussing Elons.

What I took away from this observation was less a convincing argument about Musk and more a convincing argument that you must work somewhere amazingly stupid.

...so...whats it like working for congress?

i know it’s confusing but they got a place for cowgirls to hang too.

As a cowboy,  I'd be inclined to try to match you with sir Elon so you can finally be right in your quest to make sure Mr child support (or lack there of) is forever God and can never be wrong.

Sound good? Kthanksbye.

Sir, I clocked you opening up Hornpipe at 110 beats per minute.  Did you do realize its listed at 98?  I'm gonna need to see your orchestral license.

I wonder why Musk didn't just create his own platform, would have cost him alot less than $44 billion.  A Twitter clone probably is basically a weeks worth of effort from an experienced SDE for an initial prototype, scaling isn't even that hard of a problem anymore with the cloud providers.  Filtering bots, dealing with obscenties/spam and generating revenue is obviously harder, but not so hard to handle manually during a closed beta (not sure what they do now, but thats all Facebook did early on).  Does Twitter have anything besides the brand and the user base ?  I guess its difficult to start a new social networking site, there is a graveyard full of them.   But its also difficult to start a new car company or a new rocket company.  (Yes, I realize Tesla was bought, but in the very early stages, four years before they had even shipped a car )
