He probably hears enough from around the league that you would think the average team would mirror it and lean towards Daniels, but not enough from the right places (the team itself) that you can lock it in w/ all confidence. I can live with that, and feel good about that. I don't have JD and Maye separated by a lot if anything myself so I don't discount the idea that its a hard choice. The other QBs are trying to climb up to the ladder to the #2 spot. They are not going to get there on their own with the draft just around the corner. The only way they will if AP and the coaches want to run a certain type of offense. Maye may not fit that role and one of other QB does and will be ideal/great for the type of offense they want install. I know they can't exactly parade their sources around but given it's lying season and ulterior motive month, it'd be nice to know who's saying this to these dudes. Like a bunch of guys on the Giants telling Schefter WAS should do X is pretty different than, say, the Chiefs.
