Watched this same video and had the same reaction. Exciting player. I was torn between he and Tamorrion Terry. Plays with a little bit of dog in him and has a natural ability to catch everything (at least on youtube). 6'6 215 is skinny, so he'll need to do something about that, although Randy Moss was 6'4 210. Not comparing, but there is something about him. Just sayin'

Not comparing, but there is something about him. This report says he has work ethic and character issues. Not sure what that means since its thrown around so much. Haven't seen a police report. But it says he's had off the field issues. Saw something about his academic not being up to par. But as much as I hated school, I can't speak on that. If that's the off the field issue, that's bull**** for me. All in all, I like to see NFL receivers with these four innate abilities. Some in the league have to work on it. He strikes me as a natural. 1 Innate body control 2 Good hands 3 Tracks the ball well 4 High points the ball well If a receiver can come in the league with only route running, understanding defenses and learning to get off the press, I'm good. https://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2021tjvasher.php
Going Commando
@Anselmheifer check this kid out. You're going to like him: The 2022 Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah? I don't think I even knew UNLV had a football program before now.

KDawg
My early 2022 favorites: Howell, Rattler... Christian Harris. Jalen Wydermyer.
Going Commando
I like wydermeyer too Kdawg. The platonic ideal of a tight end in terms of build. He's a talent. One of my favorites is Ahmad Gardner from Cincinnati. Seemed like the best player on a badass Cincy D. He's got size and aggression and length. The 2022 CB class is probably going to be really talented.

Love the length and the physicality. 11 hours ago, KDawg said: My early 2022 favorites: Howell, Rattler... Christian Harris. Jalen Wydermyer. Christian Harris. He completes this defense. He was draft eligible this year so if he sought the advisory committee I'd be curious to know what their verdict was. Should we Crumble for Crum? Let's get a thread started. PartyPosse
It really feels like next year's class isn't anything special. No marquee players like years past. With that said, I would absolutely use our first next year to move up this year.

The headlines practically write themselves but I'd be surprised if that ends up being necessary. I’d add Fields but... unexplainably I’m kind of an odd duck in how I view him as a high end elite prospect. I think the current marquee guys are a little bit quieter than years past... but Sam Howell is going to have the hype rocket strapped to him. Dillon Gabriel is going to get a metric **** ton of hype. Spencer Rattler is a walking charisma bomb with some swag. Christian Harris is better than any defensive prospect in this year’s draft. Jalen Wydermyer is the best tight end prospect in years. Etienne was the only one that comes to mind next year is Stingley if he comes out.

Pitts didn’t get really hyped until mid season, though. Etienne was and while I agree he’s a good player he isn’t really in that same hype category now. I don’t know. You may be right. I just think judging a class on having/not having early hype is difficult.
Going Commando
Blue chippers always emerge. I'm not a fan of trading future picks to maneuver around in the current class. Especially not with our QB situation being so unsettled. Nothing would be a bigger disaster than trading out of the 2022 first and then ending up with a top five draft slot and not being able to pick a QB prospect with it. The only way I think it'd be worth it is if the trade up was for a homerun 2021 QB prospect.
Skinsinparadise
I watch almost every Alabama game. I agree with @KDawg on Harris. He's a beast.

If we end up with a top 5 pick despite trading our first next year to get another prospect this year (along with our own first and two thirds) then not having that pick is the least of our concerns. Skinsinparadise
Been watching Alabama's Spring game. After a TD from Latu, they are touting that Saban's has touted that Latu looks good in practice. Latu has nice size for a TE. RWJ
When your winning you get and field the best players. They want to play for your program. Saban plays a part but winning does too.

Redskin21502
Metchie attended high school at St James in Hagerstown before going to prep school. You don't see NFL players very often from schools in Western Maryland. Definitely rooting for him.
