Redd
Might as well go out on his terms. Jay always loved him some Colt McCoy.

Llevron
if colt goes out and looks like ****, or breaks his leg, I can totally see this being Grudens last game.
TD_washingtonredskins
I don't blame Gruden for this.  I disagree with him and think it's useless to start McCoy. But he's the coach. If he wasn't someone who could help Allen realize his organizational vision, then he shouldn't have been retained. As long as he's here, it's his call who plays.

PartyPosse
Not surprising. Everyone knows that Grudes is on the chopping block as early as Monday so Colt really does give him his best chance to win. Can’t fire a coach after a win can ya? Haskins isn’t ready and doesn’t give the team much of an opportunity at the moment.

skinsmarydu
We're in "tragic breakdown mode" & he's gonna start a guy who hasn't played all season in the most important position on the team. Uh-huh. No wonder he's gettin fired.
max21
Not really too mad about this move, never disliked Colt and I didn’t want to see Haskins thrown into a game we’ve already lost.

NickyJ
If I were the Redskins, I'd go ahead and get that rescue helicopter warmed up on the pad during the pregame warmups.

The guy is a hurt career backup.
TradeTheBeal!
I think the world of Colt McCoy.  And he’s way past due for a run of good luck on the injury front.  Go get em, Colt!
Hooper
Jay hasn't really been able to pick his QB since he's been here.  Didn't want Smith or Haskins.  Would have started Colt over Kirk and Keenum if injuries and management -- again -- didn't interfere.  Dude knows he's done.  Going down with his guy.  I get it.
phr0z3n
It's probably for the best.. we don't want Haskins going out there completely destroying any confidence he has left after that Giants game against this Patriots defense.
