Dan T.
Today's installment of Russian Collusion... Everybody knows that hours after Trump said, on July 27, 2016, "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you can find Hilary's emails," the Russian GRU started doing just that. Less well known is that Trump privately asked members of his own Campaign to find them. Michael Flynn told the Mueller team that Trump asked members of his campaign repeatedly to get the emails. Flynn contacted a number of people to help. One of those was a guy named Peter Smith, an investment advisor active in GOP politics. Smith set up a company called KLS Research, LLC backed with Trump campaign funds and other funding. Smith told others involved in the effort - and those he was seeking financing from - that he was in contact with hackers "with ties and affiliations to Russia" who had access to the emails and that his efforts were coordinated with the Trump campaign. As Smith recruited more people into the effort, including security experts to authenticate emails, he circulated a document asserting that his efforts were undertaken "in coordination with the Trump campaign." The document listed multiple Trump campaign people, including deputy campaign manager Sam Clovis, Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, and Kellyanne Conway. - From Mueller's "Report on the Investigation Into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election, Volume 1," pages 62 and 63 Edited April 26, 2019 by Dan T.

Captain Wiggles
If what Mueller said privately is true then the system is completely broken. There is apparently no congressional or judicial check on the office of the President. Any POTUS can do whatever they want without consequence. Even shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue. This country already knew this though. We re-elect people that don't do their job and no one cares.

Lazy and or incompetent is vastly different then criminal tho. I guess we do consistently elect all three types.

Springfield
ThE post had an article today about Rosenstein that gave the impression that he was very fair and even supported Trump. Said he thought Trump wanted justice and that he was fair and some other bull****.

Bang
There's a word for these people: Traitors. It's high time it gets used when necessary. Example "Marco Rubio has proven himself to be a traitor." ~Bang 3
Hersh
Talk shows, like Meet the Press, are virtually unwatchable when they have GOP members on spouting lie after lie. I wish the press would ask these people why they keep using the word collusion when that wasn’t investigated or ask them to define collusion.
