T. C. O. B. Baby. T. C. O. B.

Greetings from the Litter Box aka Bank Of America Stadium where your Washington Redskins look to FINALLY win a game on the road since Week 1 of the Pre Season.

So far, this season has been an emotional roller coaster. The Redskins dropped their home opener to Miami and then it got weird. They began to win. At home. However on the flip side, they've managed to lose every single road game. And now, after facing an unbeaten Patriots team where no one could catch a cold let alone a pass, they face an unbeaten Panthers team.

At 9-0 you could say the Panthers are ripe for this to be their trap game. Especially since last week, the Redskins Defense held Drew Brees to a pedestrian 14 points.

In an NFC East Division that has routinely resembled a cesspool, the Redskins need to come into this one and take care of business. In the Panthers, they're facing an offense that's already at the level the Redskins were wanting to be at. They run the ball extremely well. Their TE productivity closely mirrors Jordan Reed. And their Defense has that one CB you're going to want to throw away from. Both teams mirror each other fairly well. Except the Redskins seem to have that fractured mirror look.

Opening with coin toss win & deferring to the 2nd half, Skins D doesn't allow Cam to do much of anything except go 3 & out. Skins run Morris for 2 on their opening offensive drive. Pass to Garcon for a first down & a gain of 13. Morris runs for a loss of 2 & swaps out for Matt Jones on 2nd down. Kirk to Reed who holds onto it while taking a helluva hit. 3rd down. Kirk throws a disgusting pick on a drive that had some steam to it. Looked like the pass was intended for Garcon though DJax jumped up to make a play on it. The pick was returned for 28 yards. Panthers gaining yardage now on the turnover & score on a 12 yard run after 3 plays. Taunting call on Carolina. Guessing he yelled "You like that!"

After a quick 3-0 by Carolina & an untimely INT by Kirk, Skins are down 7-0 with with still nearly 10 minutes on the clock. Skins are trying to establish run & the Panthers are keying in on stopping it. So whatcha gonna do? Huck it, chuck, F it. Take a shot deep to deep them honest. And there it is 56 yard TD to DJax. Sounds like a home game now. :) Tied at 7.

Skins D starting to get physical. Kerrigan puts Cam on his ass for a loss of 12. Cam completes his next 3 passes but his WRs aren't getting any YAC. Panthers in the Red Zone & Skins keep getting drawn offsides. Panthers score on a 3 yard run. 14-7 Panthers.

Last drive, Skins showed they can stay in this offensively if all of Kirk's weapons are there. The Defense however is showing they can stop YAC, but not much else. Defense is going to need a few takeaways & stops for negative yardage to keep them in this one. So what happens? Andre 50/50 Roberts returns a kickoff for his first carrer return for a TD in 14 seconds. End of the 1st QTR. Tied at 14.

Skins D caps off another Panthers 3-0 with an 8 yard sack for a loss by Smith on Cam. Skins ball at their 35. Jones for a loss of 2. Screen to DJax for gain of 3. Kirk to Jones for 7. 4th & 2. Skins to punt.

Panthers continue to march down the field seemingly at will. Cully with the INT for a TD that's negated by a flag.Cully called for unneccasary roughness, 15 yard penalty. Corrected to half the distance from the goal. What a bull**** call. Skins nearly pick them off AGAIN in the endzone on a play that resembles Garcon Pop Up Turnover from the Pats game. Starting to see that Carolina's 12th man is wearing black n white stripes. Several bull**** penalties have helped the Panthers in the Red Zone here. Carolina has a TD ruled incomplete & another bull**** penalty on Culliver. Panthers then challenge that it was indeed a TD. Call is overturned, it's a Panthers TD. Skins down 21-14.

Jones on a running hurdle, coughs it up & gives Carolina the ball back at their 24. First snap & the Panthers are FINALLY called for holding. 1st & 20 at their 34.Five defenders & they couldn't stop Stewart fro hitting the edge & turning it upfield. Cam to Ginn for a first down, ball on the 7. Cam on the Sneak for 2. 2nd & 5 from the 5. Cam incomplete to corner endzone. 3rd Down. TD Carolina. It's now 28-14 Panthers. Cam now has 4 TD passes in the first half & there's still over 5 minutes to play until halftime.

Skins driving from midfield after a Carolina penalty on the return & a completed pass to DJax. Skins are working the sideline pass this drive to Garcon & DJax. Down 14 at almost the half, Skins seem to have abandoned the run as they get the ball to start the 2nd half as well. So a score here, hold Carolina to nothing & the opening drive after the half puts them right back in this. Kirk with the RO pull n go nearly has a TD except it's negated by a holding penalty. GREAT play call though, as everyone on D was confused. The only problem with a calll like that is it better work cause now you've shown it. Two minute warning. 2nd & 16. Ball on the 32. Cousins stripped & sacked. Carolina recovers. Panthers march down to the 24, call a timeout with 3 seconds left in the half & send in our old buddy Gano who's good from 42.

Halftime
Panthers 31 - Redskins 14

Well ****. Deferring the coin toss to the 2nd half really worked out there if the plan was to turn it back over to the Panthers allow them to score again. Skins can't seem to get anything positive going now.

I say that, & the D stops Cam on a 3rd down. Panthers to punt so maybe there is a chance to get going now./sarcasm And Cousins is sacked for a loss of 6. 2nd & 16 pass to Reed who has it pop out of his hands. Pass complete to DJax who's run out of bounds & gets smacked in the face mask. No penalty. Figures.

This game started to look like it was going to be a shoot out & has turned into a blow out. Only positive I'm seeing here is that just like the loss to the Jets, Breeland is still out there balling.

Gano good from 48 yards out & it's 41-14.

Down 27 points & Skins are still throwing 5 yard slants & bubbble screens. TAKE A SHOT DEEP!!! Mother****! Damn!.

Ok. That worked, 20 yard pass to DJax. Still, need that deep pass. Hey at least they managed to recover Thompon's fumble. Ya know, only to have J Reed get stripped & have Carolina recover it.
End of the 3rd. Puddytats up 41-14.

Cam hits a 35 yard completion. That's the type of shots we haven't been taking to get the run game opened up. Held to another field goal, its now 44-14 Panthers.

Oh look, Kirk sacked. AGAIN. From both sides.

4&5 from the Skins 25 & they're going for it. Complete to Reed, gain of 7, First down. Trent Williams down. ****! Kirk sacked again, loss of 8. Kick with time, skips a rock across the pond to Thompson. Skins forced to punt. I'm forcing myself to not gouge my eyes out with whatever object I find nearby.

And with Carolina running out the clock from their own end zone, they give up the Safety with 16 seconds left.

There's your final: Panthers 44 Redskins 16.

This game has me REALLY fired up.  To me it's one of the biggest games (biggest) we've played this year. I've been up since 6am just waiting.  Win or lose, this is gonna be fun.  I think we may be coming together as a team.  We shall see.  Keep it close, take your shots, and let 'em hang.  Hail

I hear ya, up since 5, as per my kitties, LOL

Let's dirty their litter box with some serious ****.

Feelin' good about this one, really looking forward to it, only downside for me is that I'm in one of those slivers nationwide that won't have it broadcast, so I'll have to find a feed that I can't record/review later.

Put it all together guys, show us what is possible

I'm already seeing (and hearing) reports from many of the reporters at BoA Stadium that there are a LOT of Redskin fans there.

Is that what you guys are seeing as well?

It could be a long day. We haven't won on the road all year, and the Panthers are undefeated for a reason.

Hope I'm wrong, but I'm trying to prepare myself mentally.

I have a good feeling about this game, but that might just be leftover euphoria of our dominating win last week. :)

Disappointing that Ross has not overcome Roberts to get on active roster for the game.

I'm not sure how that's possible. But Gruden has a track record of playing the best guy, at least this year. So, clearly they see something in Roberts, or that they're not comfortable yet with Ross.

I'm comfortable that it's not just "because"
