Loved the premiere episode of American Gods.

 

Power returns June 20th.

Sundance has a good show called "Hap and Leonard".  They are in the second season.

 

Each episode is about 1 hour, but only 6 episodes per season.  Fun and easy watching.  First season now on Netflix.

 

Check it out, especially if you're looking for a show that you can just sit back and enjoy w/o too much thought.

Next week the broadcast networks announce their Fall schedules.

 

This week, saw many shows getting the ax but their was a surprise renewal.

 

Fox ordered another season of "The Exorcist".

Am digging NatGeo show Genius.

Just finished season 2 of Master of None. Pretty enjoyable. The first 2 episodes not the best but the rest of the season is good. Very easy to binge. I really wish they'd stop making it so focused on relationships. It's so much better when they don't but alas it's part of life.

Been watching 13 Reasons Why.  Aside from feeling like I'm about 20 years too old for this show I'm really digging it.  Enough mystery to keep me coming back.

Seth MacFarlane's "The Orville", basically a Trek spoof looks interesting for Fox this fall.

12 Monkeys is going the binge route and realeasing all episodes for season 3 over this weekend, starting with episodes 1-4 tonight!

Watching season 2 of master of none.  It's good.  Weaves some artistic ambition with total relatability and accessibility seamlessly.  Its really enjoyable.  Aziz is damned good.  Damned good I say.

 

Between him and Donald Glover, millennial persons of color are creating some ****ing top notch television.

I'm working my way through the new season of MST3K on Netflix.  It's just as good as the original.  I'm in pain from laughing so hard.  So far Yongary has been my favorite episode.
