BayouBrave86
I feel like a ***** for not going into work today. I trekked it through Snowmageddon from Reisterstown down to Annapolis in some serious ****, but decided to take today off. Absolutely nothing here in Arlington. DCsportsfan53
i haven't seen an accumulating snow in over 2 years now Add another reason to the list of why I'm eager to move to Denver. Average annual snowfall of 52 inches vs 14 for DC. I haven't seen real snow since early 2010, I fell for this one hook, line and sinker. So disappointed. heyholetsgogrant
No precip here in Howard county, nothing. No rain, sleet, or Snow, just wind.
boysetsfire
Weak ass storm. Around 11 they were saying 8-12 inches here in northern Montgomery County. Grass is barely covered. Bring on ****ing Spring and Summer man.

MissU28
my backyard. Still snowing hard. Not a bust for Bristow.
Btubes18
This line definitely shifted west for who got accumulating snow. I am looking at about 3-4 inches on the sidewalk and roads; close to 6 inches on the deck. I wouldn't say it's a bust at all. For DC and Arlington yes. Tom [Giants fan]
They were calling for 4-8 here on Long Island and are now downgrading to 1-3. I think they should have just said they don't have a clue and all weather outlets should have gone offair until this passed.

vaskinfan
Not a bust for Fredericksburg. We have about 7 inches and it is still snowing (and sometimes raining). Not as much as I was hoping for, but enough for our office to close so I am happy.

HogNose
Was worried this storm was going to be a bust........4-5 inches and still snowing here in West End of Richmond. Thanks for the shift overnight Mother Nature! Great snowman and snowball snow too.
Mark The Homer
Okay, snow has stopped. I haven't seen flakes (if you can call this wet stuff falling from the sky snow flakes) in close to an hour. Driving conditions: Slush on the pavement at best. Some sidewalks have deep slush, but it's just slush. It's not snow. Other pavement areas are just wet. Grassy areas: 3 inches maybe. It's becoming somewhat windy now. I would call this a bust as far as upper Montgomery. This is a long way from 8 inches.
skinsdomination09
:( Can we change the thread title to "Official 2012/2013 MD/DC Pity Party?" And Ban anybody who posts snow Obs? it can go back in few days once we're done mourning.

Mr. S
Good amount of snow fell here but now it's mostly rain. Is it really supposed to switch to snow again? The forecast radar shows it'll be cleared by 7-8pm.
GoSkins561
There's been much worse busts than a potential 6 inch snowstorm in early March. I'm about 10 miles north of the "bulls eye 12 to 16+" in the 8 to 14"+ zone, hell some meteorologist guaranteed 12+ for my area, we barely have 2 inches on the ground and it stopped snowing 4 hours ago. Major Bust, give me an example of a larger bust?

March 2001 was supposed to rival historic I-95 blizzards. Not for a small localized area, for the entire coast. Snow showers instead.
@DCGoldPants
hats off to the Kentlands Starbucks for closing at 2pm when your neighbors were still open. I'm sure there were having a laugh at your expense as customer after customer walked down the clear (wet) sidewalk to see your sign. Closed due to inclement weather, eh? How about closed due to poor planning.
