Predicto
I was watching a movie recently when I realized that it was really not very good but I couldn't help it - I laughed myself silly. The movie was Zoolander. The "Blue Steel" model expression, Hansel (he's so HOT right now), when he goes home and tries coal mining, "you can read minds????," milla jovovich, orange mocha frappachino... the whole movie is terrible and completely AWESOME! What's your guilty movie pleasure?
CaptChaos86
Yeah that would probably be all of my favorite movies. Hot Shots, The Ladies Man, Kung Pow...this list could go on for awhile so I'll just stop it right there. They are all pretty bad movies but I love them for their stupidness. That is what makes them great IMO.
No Excuses
Taken. Dumb movie, completely unrealistic plot. 10/10 for being badass.
Elessar78
F that. I love Zoolander. But yes. Guilty pleasure. "What is this? A center for ants??" Zoolander holds a unique place for me too in a different way. It was released after 9/11 and we went to go see it in the theater during college and it was the first time I had heard public laughter (in a big group) since the attacks. I just remember being noticeable at the time. Anyway, I love the Underworld series. But that's cause I can look at Kate Beckinsale all day. Botched
I don't think I liked Zoolander much. I like every other movie mentioned so far though. Some more: Undercover Brother The second Deuce Bigalow The Big Hit Shoot em Up

Elessar78
Taken.Dumb movie, completely unrealistic plot. Get's a 10/10 for being badass. Taken deals in straight up stereotype. Wouldn't be surprised if Karl Rove was the executive producer. Let's go over the plot. Daughter of materialistic divorcee goes to France to follow U2. Kidnapped by Eastern Europeans. Sold into sex slavery. Auctioned off to a middle eastern Sheik who wants to take her virginity. Oh and dutiful, simple living, covert ops dad gets her back in one piece. Sounds like a scare you into xenophobia approach to me. only saving grace is dad is from Northern Ireland.

Predicto
I need more detail - why is this movie so entertaining despite being so awful?
No Excuses
Liam Neeson single handedly destroying a human trafficking ring in Europe. The plot is both terrible and awesomely badass at the same time. I can't believe they are making a second one.
sportjunkie07
big trouble in little china- ridicoulous stereotypes and plot, but ultimately very funny and entertaining.
Teller
"Happy Gilmore" is probably pretty bad. Unrealistic plot, exaggerated characters. Over-stuffed with one liners. But also one of my favorite comedies of all time.
artmonkforHOF
Weekend at Bernies 1 & 2 Harley Davidson & the Marlboro Man Judgement Night- bad movie, great soundtrack Back to School and when I was younger, all the Police Academy movies, License to Drive, and Summer School where movies I would watch all the time whenever they came on TV, which was a lot. Fan since a Fetus
Zohan, Zoolander, Dodgeball etc. Lots of comedies that are awful, but I love them.
Tulane Skins Fan
Lot of good ones so far. Big Trouble in Little China is the epitome. Deuce Bigalow (even the first one). Undercover Brother hits the spot as well. Last Action Hero... Roadhouse. I've seen Sucker Punch on a lot of lists of worst movies ever... I really really like that movie. I guess i'm the only one. Sticksboi05
Independance Day.Armegeddon. (ducks) Armageddon absolutely. What a complete joke of a film but I'll watch it whenever it's on. I.D. is objectively mediocre i'd say instead of awful.
Predicto
big trouble in little china- ridicoulous stereotypes and plot, but ultimately very funny and entertaining. Wait - that movie isn't awful. It's awesome all the way through. ---------- Post added September-21st-2012 at 10:39 AM ---------- ^roadhouse is a good one Ugh I can't watch that one. It fails in quality but because it takes itself seriously, it also fails in entertainment value.
Botched
For some reason whenever any of those god-awful Star Wars prequels come on TV I have to watch them. I think swords made out of lasers have some kind of unholy hypnotic effect on me.
Jumbo
I cosign every movie mentioned so far, except Deuce B, (and would even argue a couple of them are actually good :gap::geek::dunce::shutup:) and will add "Cloverfield" and "Quarantine"
China
Ugh I can't watch that one. It fails in quality but because it takes itself seriously, it also fails in entertainment value. That's what makes it so entertaining; it takes itself seriously when really it should be a comedy/satire.
