mistertim
Hank and Helu both definitely impressed (I don't necessarily fault Helu for that fumble; Willis just got a perfect hit on his arm). Especially Hank coming in, starting with almost zero real game time up until now, and still making some plays.
PeterMP
From what I saw, Hankerson looked pretty good. Helu doesn't impress me. I guess he looks like he might OK.
BRAVEONAWARPATH
Shanhan's comments on Hankerson: Hank has been practicing well and consistently beats press coverage. Hankerson will be a difference maker in this league.
MonkFan8
Wow, anyone happen to know the Redskins record for most receptions in a game? ESPN has Helu at 14 receptions (17 targets). He has to be close... Speaks to how pathetic our offense was, but still.

Skinsfan4life83
Hankerson needs a QB to throw him the ball. Beck ain't cutting it.

rocskins
Hank was consistently open downfield today. Beck just couldn't get the ball to him.
rebornempowered
I know there wasn't safety help because they knew Beck wouldn't beat them but I liked what I saw of Hankerson being open deep. It is nice to think that maybe, just maybe the Redskins may have gotten two decent receivers in one draft. Hopefully Niles Paul will continue to develop and get chances to show what he can do. @DCGoldPants
next needs to be Gomes at Safety over Doughty. Might be the nicest guy in the work, but he can't play profootball.
RiggosMohawk
With my huge mancrush on Hank85, I had extreme love/hate on every replay showing him cleanly beating his man deep - loving that he gets open, hating that the ball will never get thrown deep by Beck. Spear
I defended Hankerson's drops in preseason. You simply don't make such embarrassing drops unless you are wide open to begin with and that's what he was. He clearly had a ton of talent; he just isn't a natural catcher. He has to really concentrate to make catches and it can be hard to focus on hands when you're learning a new offense and trying to process your assignment. But once he gets more time in the system and more experience, he's going to be a beast. He might even be our clear #1 in a season or two.
5ohhh
I thought one of few bright spots today was Hankerson, although i think he will be limited due to Captin Checkdown playing QB...he could make a great target for a young QB in the years to come. MumboSauce
Both will only improve...a couple of the few bright spots along with Kerrigan. ^^^ lol @ captain check down, tell us how you really feel about Beck.
jazzy1
I'm very excited about hankerson seeming him beat his man deep is encouraging watching chicken little not even look his way more of a problem. Hankerson catching that back shoulder 2 pt conversion a play I have been screaming for all season long to throw to him might have cured our Redzone woes. Conn
^^^ lol @ captain check down, tell us how you really feel about Beck. I mean he DID complete 14 passes to Helu. All around 2-5 yards before YAC.
Hitman21ST
I mean he DID complete 14 passes to Helu. All around 2-5 yards before YAC. Love that Helu got the touches, but man...I was shaking my head every time Beck double clutched the ball and checked it down. Loved that Hank was open 90% of the time though.
