The stats just aren't there to justify that kind of compensation for a guy that is 31 years old. Plus why would you give up that much for a QB that retired rather than play? The Bengals have to get SOMETHING for him... so offer them some value and nothing more. If they don't make this move, management is telling the team they've decided to bag the season. Mike Brown is an a-hole and holding out on trading Palmer was crazy at first but netting possibly two first round picks is just crazy. Raiders wow!!The raiders should just trade their last two picks in the 2012 draft and take their time hiring a GM. I can't believe Mike Brown beat somebody. He was atrocious last year, but he padded his stats at the end of games. Even in his peak he was never worth 2 first rounds picks. Horrible deal.
