Going Commando
Anderson chooses Houston, 4 yr 80 mil. I like Anderson and he would have been a good fit here. But 20 million a year is too much for a sixth man with a significant injury history. That number would have given me serious anxiety if he had signed here. justice98
So if they come up empty on Horford, I gotta hear Ernie and Ted try to spin this offseason.
Destino
Anderson chooses Houston, 4 yr 80 mil. Houston got desperate and wildly over paid. They must have felt they needed something after losing Howard.
CRobi21
@JMichaelCSN - Wizards have Wall, Beal, Porter, Morris, Gortat, Oubre, McClellan, Eddie under contract. Possibly Satoransky. That's > 5 #WizardsTalk #ThePlan @WojVerticalNBA - Sources: Boston, Washington falling back on Al Horford, with Hawks strengthening in belief that a deal can be reached to re-sign him. justice98
Houston got desperate and wildly over paid. They must have felt they needed something after losing Howard. But it's not overpaying, that's what it costs now. 17ppg/6rb, that's a $20mil player in 2016 and beyond. 17ppg and an injury history got Bradley Beal $23 mil. He's got age on his side, that's really the difference. But Anderson's only 28, he's not past his prime. Edited July 2, 2016 by justice98

Taylor703
So, I'm confused, what does one do when they only have 5 real NBA players? I mean, does Ernie think the NBA will just give us a redshirt year? How does this guy keep getting chances to build this team? Why am I still a fan?

GoCommiesGo
So it's over right? There is no one really left all the above average players are signed. Ernie and Ted wasted two years of Walls prime for completely ****ting the bed. I can't blame Wall one bit for leaving when the time comes.
Gamebreaker
The only free agents who will sign with this organization are the ones who missed out on their top choices.

CRobi21
@WojVerticalNBA - Horford had been incredibly intrigued with Wizards and there was a time that he preferred Washington's talent over Boston's. Wild finish. Sigh..
Gamebreaker
It wouldn't surprise me if a year or two from now. An article is written on the failed KD2DC campaign. And it wouldn't surprise me at all if we find out the disrespect they paid to the players on the team in the last two years, and the obvious telegraphed approach to getting KD, including nearly tampering caused the players to collectively to not really consider playing here. Taylor703
So is there any chance Grunfeld trots out Sato as our big acquisition when he finishes missing on the scraps?
justice98
Dudley walking is a very underrated loss. Especially in light of the empty hole free agency has been.
BRAVEONAWARPATH
Personally, I think our starting lineup is solid. Just take that 30m cap space and build a super strong bench.
justice98
So is there any chance Grunfeld trots out Sato as our big acquisition when he finishes missing on the scraps? Seems like a big chance at this rate. Or Sullinger or somebody like that that hasnt been on the radar.
Renegade7
I'd go so far to say the sacrifices we made to have room for KD cost us any chance at a Plan B. I hope we never do something like that again. I don't feel like making excuses.
