disturbed1
Well I didn't really get into football until 2005 and the player that got my attention was Chris Cooley, I have been a fan ever since.

teflon don
Man, I came into the living room one day to see Kilmer, then Sonny try to come back against the Pukes when I was around 6 yrs old. My Dad and older brother were rooting for the girls and I was like F THAT! Sonny just gunned and gunned til there was no more gunnin to do. They did lose that day , but I was hooked for life!!! ixcuincle
LaVar Arrington Memory is hazy but he was one of the premiere defensive players back then when he felt like playing
clarkskin
He was so $$$. At the time it seemed like he was here for an eternity, but now I realize it was only 3 years. He was huge in '83. Yeah. He'd have had a huge career if not for the knee injury. That was back when an ACL would end you!
ThomasRoane
Chris Hanburger. Partly cause he is from the Hampton Roads area. He give me a signed photo and letter when my team went undefeated and won a city championship. But mostly cause I loved when he would knock Staubach out of the game! Old Bay
I'm pretty sure it was Brad Edwards. That's the first guy I can remember who I was legitimately more happy when he made a big play then I normally was in that situation.
Khun Kao
I vaguely remember Sonny vs. Billy when I was a kid, and I seem to recall I favored Sonny. But once I really started to follow the game, I was all about Riggo and the Hogs.
monkeezgob
Charlie Brown. I always thought he was a vastly underrated WR whose career was cut short by injury. Closely followed by Joe Washington.
Obibyn23
While I have to be always been one to be a fan of an entire team as opposed to a single player...this one is easy... Art Monk

HawaiianTime
My first Redskins memories are of the 83 team, so I grew up with Joey T., Riggo, Art, & Darrell. Some of the responses on here about growing up with Lavar, Champ, or the late 90's Skins makes me feel old since I'm a few years older than both Lavar and Champ. :paranoid: Remember when Darrell ran down Eric Dickerson? Dickerson was amazed and impressed!

skinfan133
At the age of 1 year and 364 day on January 26th, 1992 I uttered the words "Go Wedskins" this entirely counts despite my grammatical errors.
Spanky22
When I was a little kid, I wanted to be Art Monk when I grew up, kinda like other kids wanted to firemen or policemen. Sadly, Im short, white, and slow, so that never panned out.
