My boyfriend does not eat tomatoes, and my friend and her husband don't like them either. I'll eat tomato sauce and ketchup, but that's it. So...yay or nay on tomatoes? bcl05 Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Good tomatoes (heirlooms grown in my garden, still warm from the sun, sprinkled with kosher salt): as good as it gets - absolute nectar of the gods. Bad tomatoes (99.6% of everything in a supermarket): Wet cardboard. Useless and pointless for cooking. Shouldn't be allowed in a kitchen. Useful for throwing at neighborhood cats.
