dsciambi
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4497498 Ochocinco procured four front-row tickets in the north end zone and sent them to Mike Bergs' home in Evanston, Ill., the newspaper reported. (The fourth ticket went to Bergs' friend, Ross Peterson, who actually is a Packers fan. No word on his fate.) They decked themselves out in orange -- Lee Bergs was the one with the corrupted cheesehead. So it was not hard for the receiver to find his target. "When he started making his way toward us, we knew it was on," Mike Bergs said, according to the Journal Sentinel. "His face. I wish I could have been shooting a camera at him. The smile on his face was from ear to ear. He was so excited." "That was one of the most pure, fun moments for us as Bengals fans." Chad 8-5 is the best! I wish he had been picked up by the Skins... Hiro
I guess he learned his lesson from when he tried this in Cleveland. :hysterical: That's really cool of Chad though. Despite all his antics, I do believe he is one of the good guys in the NFL.
SirClintonPortis
Yeah, we wouldn't have to waste a roster spot on a kicker, DEFINITELY worth giving up a 1st and a 3rd(?). :rotflmao:
HailGreen28
Well, we could have drafted him back in 2001 instead of Rod Gardner. Meh. Who knew?

Despite all his antics, I do believe he is one of the good guys in the NFL. I was at the game in Cleveland...in the dawg pound. It was awesome. I was about 40 rows up and you could see a bunch of beers from several rows up get tossed in his direction. That was an amazing game. I think like 90 total points were scored. ixcuincle
Ochocinco is great. I decided to further follow up on the ESPN story and read the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's account of the events http://www.jsonline.com/news/wisconsin/60469977.html "When he started making his way toward us, we knew it was on," Bergs said. "His face. I wish I could have been shooting a camera at him. The smile on his face was from ear to ear. He was so excited."Yeah, yeah, real exciting. Didn't the hometown crowd try to kill you? Not even close, Bergs said. A lot of Packers fans wanted to pose with them for photos. They were not showered in beer. Unlike at other, more brutal, NFL stadiums, everyone was polite and friendly. Well, Bergs said, except for the lout next to them who was annoying during the game and then gave the finger to the cameras capturing the leap. What if he had scored in the other end zone? Did he buy tickets for someone there too? Bergs doubts that Ochocinco had arranged for Bengals fans in the opposite end zone. He was taking his chances that he would score on the north end. Bergs said he thinks the fact that they were bought and paid for doesn't stain the experience. Everybody from their old high school football coach to mothers of former girlfriends has been calling to say, hey, was that you?
dsciambi
I've renamed this thread to the Chad Ochocinco thread, since I'm pretty sure his antics will continue all season long. Here's his latest: http://www.nfl.com/videos/cincinnati-bengals/09000d5d8133be81/Ocho-s-disclaimer "The fine money has been sent out to the NFL ahead of time." Haha! The guy is just an all around entertainer. I know lots of people don't like him, but I enjoy how he doesn't take himself too seriously.
MattFancy
I follow him on Twitter. Last week for their game and Cleveland he asked if someone would pick him up at the airport and go to the mall with him. Easily the most entertaining player in the NFL. darklight1216
Lol he's already payed a fine to the NFL for a touchdown celebration that he expects to do.
ljs
I follow him on Twitter as well, he's funny! And he is just so down to earth. He'll post pics of his food, challenge Shawn Merriman to boxing match- I think he is good for the game. But I will say, he dropped some key passes in that Clevland game.
