CrypticVillain
To me the best part of a song is the intro. If I had to compare it to something I would compare it to an opening drive on offense. When everything clicks you feel like it will be a good game and when it doesn't you might be in some trouble. Well here are some of my favorite intros of a song: Jay Z- Hovi Baby when I mention that I have to say TLC- Diggin On You too. POD-Wildfire and . I know it ain't a real intro in the song, but that cowbell is the beez neez.
PokerPacker
I kinda like when songs start out small and build into something big.

Dan T.
Examples of what Poker Packer mentioned: I like Bruce's short orchestral opening, followed by tinkling piano, followed by "The rangers had a homecoming. . ." over the piano, then "as we take our stand, down in Jungleland" as the rest of the E Street band kicks in. Or the whole first part of Elton John's Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding.

I don't know too much of their stuff and I hear my favorite band (Edguy) is similar to them.

I don't think Maiden is a accurate comparison, but definately something else 80's Hair Metal. Kind of like Bon Jovi or something.

They've got a pretty wide variety of stuff, it really hard to pin them down to one thing (though if you want to see probably their most 80's-like song, look for ****in' with fire(Hair Force One), fun song even if not their most technical).
