abdcskins
This team is hard to predict. Two weeks ago I thought we were headed to 3-13. Now it looks like we may have been rejuvenated. at Texans- loss vs. Jaguars- win at Eagles- loss vs. Giants- loss vs. Seahawks- loss at Cardinals- loss vs. Titans- win at Cowboys- win at Vikings *bye* vs. Buccaneers at Niners at Colts vs. Rams at Giants vs. Eagles vs. Cowboys Prognostications? On paper there are three, "weak," opponents in the Vikings, Bucs, and Rams. Supposing we beat them (big if), can we eke out two more wins? That would put us at 8-8 and a shot at the playoffs. In San Francisco and Indianapolis will be tough. I think we have the ability to get one more win in the division with those final three games. I'm saying 7-9. PartyPosse
6-10 I'm sure we're pencilled in as the weak team on some of their schedules too.
hail2skins
I predicted 8-8 at the start of the year, and after last night's win I think that record is well within our sights. I don't really want to be in the playoffs unless we have a winning regular season record, but I think a 5-3 finish in the second half would be a victory of sorts in Jay's first year, especially with RG3's injury taking him out for much of the season's first half. Aside from our playoff seasons (famously, of course, the 7 game run to end 2012), the second halves of our seasons have recently been really dreadful........lot of 2-6s posted over the last eight games. ILikeBilly
If nothing much changes with the team, I will give us 2 more wins. If Robert comes back and is healthy for the rest of the season, I will switch to 4 or 5 more wins. If Robert is healthy, look for us to beat the colts, because Robert always beats Luck!!! If I type Tony romoSUCKS, will it be switched to romoSUCKS sucks? PS - I just checked and yes, it does do an automatic change every time we type romo. romo, romo, romo.....!!!!! Gregpeck99
There is no reason the Skins (with new "shark" attack defense) cannot win over Minn, Bucs, Rams, ... split with SFran and Indy and sweep the Final 3 Division games. Pumped!

Springfield
I think that the Monday night overtime victory over the Cowboys will be the highlight of our season.
my_friend_goo
49ers and Colts are the two teams on that list presenting the biggest challenge, so anything better than 9-7 is wishful thinking but not impossible. Rams are tricky and probably the team we drop the "easy" one to. Am I right in thinking the remaining division games are all at home? If so, anything less than two wins would be a disappointment. So 7-9 is the lowest limit that would get me feeling better about this season and next.

We hosted the Giants at FedEx in week 4, so we have to play there in week 14.
Rufus T Firefly
8-8 is not going to give us "a shot at the playoffs". At that point, you need Dallas to go 2-6 AND Philly to go 3-6 to get a 3-way tie. That is fantasy talk.
Duckus
I see 5-11 or 6-10. Go "optimistic" and say 6 wins. We win the next two plus a division game.
DC9
Realistically I'd say 1 or 2 more wins looking at that. Unless Griffin shows up RED hotttt. Like four-t hot.
4skins23
I am thinking the best / realistic best this team will do is 8-8. That being said, if RG3 is back, I think 5-11 will be more likely.

SkinsFTW
8-8 is best case scenario. I'll go with 7-9 because we should beat the Vikes, Bucs, Rams, and somebody else. I doubt we can hang with the 49ers or Colts even though the Colts D looks like trash. We can only imagine our D or OL is 1/2 as bad as what the Colts have, IMO. abdcskins
I imagine with those three supposed winnable games (Vikings, Bucs, Rams) we will lose one, just because we aren't exactly leaps and bounds ahead of them. We can beat the Eagles, Cowboys, and Giants on any given Sunday. Niners and Colts not so much. If RG3 comes back sizzling - which I don't anticipate, then we could maybe get to 9-7. I like our weapons on offense, but don't think the offensive line is all of a sudden going to be a formidable wall. Defense is still a work in progress. WFC
I would say realistically we are looking at 7-9 maybe 8-8. Concerning San Fran and Indy I would say we have a better chance of beating San Fran before we do Indy. Luck, even when they don't win, just throws up a lot of points and it's hard to keep up with them. If the Colts got a lead I think it would be harder for us to catch them than say San Fran, not saying it can't be done. If we play like we did last night on D we won't loose another game with our remaing schedule. Here's to hoping last night is the new norm and not the exception. I think yeah, RG3 looked bad against the texans. but he was doing pretty good against the jaguars leading up to his injury. I think he would be as good, if not better, than kirk and colt. mike42
As much as I enjoyed getting the win in Dallas, I'm not going to let it go to my head. It was an upset. I see us finishing 6-10. This hope of playoffs should be put to rest. Even if we get hot the next 7 out of 8 games, theres still a high chance of missing the playoffs. PartyPosse
As good as we played yesterday remember this team sadly won't get as fired up for any other game except for maybe the last couple. In reality you're still starting Colt McCoy as your QB and your corners are still a 2nd round sophomore and a 4th round rookie. Everything needed to go perfectly in order for this team to beat the Cowboys by 3 in OT. That being said I LOVE the nucleus of this team and could see that secondary gelling into a very formidable unit in the not-so-distant future. One good game against the Cowboys doesn't erase all the problems we had before. Remember how bad our secondary looked weeks 1-7? We may be getting better, but aren't there yet. I'd like to see a consistent pass rush as well. But our guys are making plays. Looking forward to seeing Robinson, Riley, and Kerrigan wreak havoc. Offense is unpredictable. I sort of liked how McCoy looked last night but in the end he's an underwhelming QB with limited skills. O-line is still a mess and who knows what Morris can do behind them. RGIII is equally a huge question mark. I do, however, love our WRs and the reemergance of Reed.

RG3 before he was hurt was stinking the field up.RG is a great athlete, but doesn't fit this offense. Oh god I've had it with this crap. He's completed 77% of his passes for 305 yards and has a passer rating of 98.4 in his game and a few series worth of work this year. If we don't fumble twice inside the redzone and get a punt blocked against the Texans than we win that game easily. But continue on spouting off **** that's not true about RGIII. PartyPosse
Yeah seriously. RG3 was looking fantastic before the unfortunate injury. Best of all he was ripping off some nice runs early in that Jax game. Just because Kirk came in and did what pretty much every other QB was doing at that time to the Jax defense doesn't mean squat. I expect RG3 would have done the same and would have been having a pro-bowl calibre season had the ankle displacement not happened.
