My guess is Chase is JAG. Great talent, but habitual underperformer who never realizes his potential. He's 24 and about to be on his third team.

He'll be out of the league in 2-3 years.

He needs to have a heart to heart with the reflection in his own mirror.  Talent can get you so far, you have to continue to work and prefect your talent for continued success.

Wishing him the best.

I think he bounces around on short term deals like  Clowney unless the knee goes. I’d still take a flyer on him. Lots of immature kids have gotten their **** together after sticking around in their early 20s. I’m one of them. That type of physical ability doesn’t come around very often though.

The attitude and injuries are to much let young go he the past.

Just read where Allegretti played 79 snaps in the regular season and 79 in the Super Bowl....has a ring.

Kinda sounds vaguely like my argument that:

A: If you're OL is historically awful then...

B: You not only need to replace many starters, you've also got to flush the guys that couldn't take jobs from the starters off the roster.

Maybe Allegretti is about improving the quality of reserves for cluster injury situations.

I think this Peters chap might know what he’s doing.

Yeah, I think the ideal scenario is that he is a rotational piece and good depth at a couple different spots.

I'm sick of his radio / podcast hits - he says that type of stuff everytime.  Of course he is technically right, but he's the one in the radio during the off-season!  I don't need to hear him rant about not knowing anything right now. Then get off the radio! They have you there to give an opinion.... do it, or go away!

Wait a gosh darn second! You mean to tell me that constantly saying things like players need to "man up" isn't good analysis?

I'm a Doc fan, but a little roasting is ok here :)

The "pros" in DC have been wrong for two decades... It's going to take more than one off-season to extradite the PTSD from this fanbase.

It's like a reflex at this point.

"Once they put pads on we will find out" - DOC Walker quote on the radio today.  Classic Doc.

There's only one way to find out if you got a cream puff or a cyborg werewolf, and that's to put the pads on.

Ages of our FA additions:

Ertz - 33

Armstrong - 26

Biadasz - 26

Luvu - 27

Ekeler - 28

McManus - 32

Allegretti - 27

Ferrell - 26

Mariota - 30

Fowler Jr. - 29

Ott - 32

Chinn - 26

Nobody over 30 outside of a kicker, LS, and Ertz. Makes it unlikely to me that we go after Tyron Smith at LT. I think we're trying to stay in the 25-30 window... 2nd or 3rd contracts.

Can't wait for these juicy training camp practices where old enemies become new friends 🤪

https://www.gainesville.com/story/sports/college/sec/2023/10/16/dante-fowler-austin-ekeler-florida-hit-monday-night-football-game/71210731007/

The physicality and aggression between the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers started before their “Monday Night Football” matchup kicked off.

A large group of players from both teams converged on one another near midfield during pregame warmups at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

In that scuffle, Cowboys defensive end and former Florida standout Dante Fowler Jr. was spotted hitting Chargers running back Austin Ekeler in the face. Fowler struck Ekeler with his right hand, knocking off the 5-10 running back’s helmet in the process.

The actual cowboys have done squadoosh so far.

Must be too busy admiring what GMAP + Quinn are doing 🤣

Somewhere in watching sports media yesterday they said the Cowboys only have like $2 mil of salary cap space.  It's great!  LOL

That's what happens when you overpay players. You end up in cap hell. Just wait, it will happen to the Eagles at some point.
