Good and they should be.  Those obnoxious fans didn't know what they had with Reid and probably were lucky to get their lone SB with Pederson at the helm.

KC will have to come through the Washington Commanders to do that!

#Report : the #Eagles were reportedly very close to hiring Kliff Kingsbury as their OC. The deal fell apart when Kingsbury wanted to bring in a whole new offensive staff.

It is to believed that lurie & Howie we're not ready to move on from Jeff stoutland, so they passed on Kingsbury. Per Adam caplin via inside the birds

Andy learned from the Philly experience not to hitch your future on an average QB. Had he moved on from McNabb a lot sooner, I think he would have won a chip or two for that town.

Kyle kind of right now reminds me of Tom Landry.  He couldn't win the big one but later he did.  He won two SBs.  Hopefully, Kyle, Lynch and whoever is replacing Peters can get a couple.  Kyle and John are good people and they with Peter's help have built a solid foundation in SF.  Washington is fortunate to have Adam Peters along with HC Quinn.  Hopefully, they build this organization to be a Juggernaut.

Kyle will have to find the right QB. Purdy is excellent on precision short passes, but his longer throws look wobbly and slow.

Such a great defensive game. Spags vs Wilks was a fun watch.

Also lots of power running. Battle of wills type of game.

I do think it came down to Mahomes being a hell of a lot better than Purdy, who got a little exposed last night.

Nah.  Purdy wasn't the issue.

Offensive line protection in the red zone had the Chief's DL all up in Purdy's face so he couldn't throw accurately on touchdowns that were open.

AND...once again, Kyle gets pass happy in a second half in a SB with a lead.  He abandoned the run game, which was working well on the perimeter to McCaffrey.  Just 3 and out again and again with 9 passes to 1 run.  You can't do that.  They could have worn down KC if they kept to the run the way they did early.  This loss is on Kyle and a couple fluke plays like the ball bouncing off the foot of that one dude, which caused the punt turnover.  Then a really bad missed FG, which was all on the kicker, hitting is so low that it got blocked.  Zero Chiefs penetration.  He hadn't missed a FG all year.

I do think Kyle got pass-happy in the 3rd quarter, but it also looked to me like the Chiefs successfully adjusted and were stuffing the run pretty well. The Niners' run game didn't open back up until late in the game when the Chiefs were gassed. The back-breaking throws were there for the making in the second half, and Purdy couldn't make them.

That's my concern with Kingsbury. I'm afraid we will become a pass happy team and not rely enough on the run.  Time will tell.

Eagles thought they were going to make another run after Vick's great 2010 season and they tried to do a 2000 Redskins and things fell off a cliff. Probably was a good time for Philly and Reid to part ways at that point.

Where the Philly fans are obnoxious is that Andy is revered less than Buddy Ryan, who never won anything there. The Skins win over the Eagles in 1990, avenging the Body Bag Game and getting Buddy fired, is up there with any Super Bowl as far as favorite wins.

Bobby Johnson is not liked from Bills and Giants fans, his two previous stops.

Ouch...

In 2022 he followed Brian Daboll to New York and became the Giants offensive line coach.[8] He was fired after the 2023 season, where the Giants offensive line gave up a league leading 85 sack

Bobby Johnson. Why do I believe we could have found a much better candidate?

Sad, because many though Cole Popovich was interviewed and was going to be the hire.  Are they really knocking down the door to be coaches here.  This hire surely doesn't seem like it.  Post from @Chris 44  below.  This isn't good!  Reporters need to take the facts and ask the questions.
