The Saints players overruling Dennis Allen and running a play anyway for Williams shows how much command he has of that locker room. Despite the 9-8 season and Carr balling out in the final third of the season, there is a chance Dennis Allen is let go

Ron Rivera just arrived at the Commanders’ headquarters. He’s expected to meet with Josh Harris this morning.

Are those "X" links? lol

According to others on twitter, their meeting has already started. Guessing that we will be hearing something fairly soon

The real story is when do the rumors about front office execs start rolling out in earnest?

It's only been a few minutes but the most impressive thing is Bob Meyers is going to be involved in finding the next GM and coach

Bob Meyers is a very, very smart man. Used to be a GM who built the Splash Brothers in the NBA. @The Evil Genius can vouch for his talent.

This was a very difficult year. But the light at the end of the tunnel is coming!

WOW!!!!! Josh is on a roll!!!!!!!!!

Dude came out of right field with that one.  One thing I don't like is the Rick Spielman deal.  Don't want him no where near the GM spot. He isn't supposed to be and don't want him to be.  Myer's talking about thinking out of the box.  Josh just did. The Irving Johnson experience.

So far Harris is showing that he is a man who intends to do things the right way.  He stayed true to his word and allowed Rivers’s to finish the season and is now putting good people in place to begin building the franchise the right way.

This is actually excellent. Hire SMART people who know how to help identify, interview, and hire OTHER smart people to run your football ops.

Doesn't mean they will hire the right person in EVERY position, but the process is 1000x more competent than how this outfit has been run the last 25 years.

I mean, that was wild.  I dont know how you take back command of that locker room.  Whoever was in on that, heads need to roll.  But I think I'd feel bad if it were just Allen's head and none of those players.

Very interesting.  Sounds like Myers and Spielman involvement will be more of short term consultant/advisory roles in finding the right organizational structure and top level people.

Harris is involving and trusting experts.

Been begging for this for about a decade now. Very difficult to identify, interview and hire the right people so consulting help is an A+ move. Very different from the last guy who just needed to have heard of your name and thinks that's good enough
