NeverSurrender
I was shocked..... to see that Howell was available in the 5th. Shocked.... He very well could be our starter in a year or 2. Cant wait to see him and Heinkie battle it out in the preseason. 9 minutes ago, Warhead36 said: Wouldn't shock me if we outright cut Heinicke. Cut our only back up with significant playing time? Why would we do that?
KDawg
Where the hell were all you Howell fans when I was dodging left hooks and flying debris in the draft thread defending him? I could have used an assist, damnit. 1 6

Ball Security
Haha! I mentioned Coke Kelley as an UDFA possibility back in March. My “change the NFL” approach would be to have a 2pt specialist. And this would be my guy.
FootballZombie
I was hoping for a UDFA. Needed another arm for camp and he is almost free. I know nothing about him other than the fact that he is 6-foot-7 and 260 pounds. That's alotta QB right there. Biggest dude we have had in a while. Cant wait to see him in preseason so I can scream "That thing belongs in a cage!" at my TV, as he dwarfs the puny mortals around him. I think I love my new QB abomination. 4

Sam Howell wasn't cool enough to be liked, not because of his ACTUAL ability... but because of where people thought we were going to take him? Because there were a ton of "Sam stinks you tools" types of posts. And now he no longer stinks? Because we drafted him in the 5th? Am I understanding this? 2 minutes ago, Ball Security said: Haha! And no, that wasn't the conversations that were being had Trust me, I know. I was involved in them. So we could draft a rookie and let them sit and learn. So, that's true.

Ahhh, 14-game seasons, when dudes with regular jobs played football in the Fall to support their offseason drug habits. 1
