You all realize the war is McConnell vs trump right?

One losing means the other winning.

It might mean that democracy, women, people of color, voting rights, climate change, the poor and middle class, and a whole other host of things win.

Fascists and white supremists and Christian Nationalists go under in their respective rocks.

Either way we all lose.

Nah. This isn't a "victory goes the country" thing. It's a "Trump v Desantis" or "Trump v McConnell" hurts them all except the other party here.

McConnell is isn't going to get in a public anything with him. He can just sit it out in the minority being the guy who actually got all those unqualified judges confirmed.

Don v Ron in a place like Minnesota or Arizona or North Carolina is a win for the Dem just watching.

Daily Beast: Hannity Unsure Who Pushed the ‘Red Tsunami’ Rumors He Pushed

Quote

“RED TSUNAMI COMING?” Hannity posted on Friday night, hyping the “latest polling” from polling firm Trafalgar. “Is a red tsunami on the way?”

The night after the election, which saw Republicans wildly underperform expectations, the conservative primetime host played dumb, telling viewers he can’t seem to figure out the origin of the notion that the GOP would crush the midterms.

Now we'll see if the GOP wants to spend any time, money, or other elected officials in Georgia. Walker does nothing for them but he's a Trump pick. Why would Desantis or Kemp use any of their political capital on him now?

Well as you’ve seen the dems can struggle if they don’t have as many seats as possible to avoid a few holding them hostage. In that sense it’s worth trying to win.

It’ll be interesting to see what they do

I dunno if I agree with this sentiment that other people have. I don't know if the GOP will really push for Georgia, but if Walker wins and keeps the Senate 50/50, it keeps Manchin and Sinema as wild cards that Reps can chip away at. Whereas if Warnock is re-elected, then the Dems can focus on swaying one of them and ignoring the other. I don't know if that's enough of an incentive for the GOP to keep dumping money into the runoff, but as most of us have learned over the last 2 years, having a 50/50 split with those 2 doesn't benefit the Dems as much as getting an extra vote to counteract one of them.

They shouldn't.
