Right now mostly ticket brokers are posting seats. The schedule literally came out and most season ticket holders aren’t even thinking about selling their tickets yet. This is also the first season fans will be in that stadium. Once they go to a couple of games they will likely be more willing to sell. My brother lives in Vegas and has season tickets and he didn’t have a clue the schedule was out yesterday or what the resale value of tickets is. I’m sure the week of the game tickets will be far more reasonable than now. Why would anyone sell at a discount 6 months before the actual game?

I plan to go to our game plus the Eagles and Chiefs game there.

Yeah, I think it’s better to play them in December than Sept/Oct.  These prices are close to what I paid for World Series tix.  Unreal.

I see what a lot of posters are saying that the NYG have owned us for quite some time now, and while I think we will sweep them this year, I can understand that might not be the case.

Here’s the deal for me, though:  Any team that has Jason Garrett as a head/assistant coach is going to get “vanilla”, which is why I loved it when Jerry Jones would keep extending him as the head coach in Dallas (hated to see that mediocrity come to an end.  I don’t know what to think about McCarthy ...).  Maybe NYG beats us both times this season, but against the rest of the NFL, it seems that a lot of opponents know how to beat a Garrett-run offense.  He’ll have Barkley back and healthy this season, and they’ve certainly added to their offense, but the bottom line is that Garrett is still the OC, and when he was in Dallas running things, they should have been getting deluxe chocolate out of some of those teams and instead they got vanilla.

I flew into Vegas a couple days ago and after getting the rental car, wound up on Dean Martin Drive which literally is the street Allegiant is on. Place looks sick.

For those who are going and haven't got a room yet, consider the Fremont Streef (downtown) hotels. Room rates should be cheaper in general, and so is the gambling compared to the Strip. Someone else mentioned Circa, downtown's newest. I went for the grand opening in October and the place is very nice.

Lol, my studio is on Dean Martin, about 50 feet away from Sapphires.

I had a suite at the luxor but it was a king suite and a friend of ours asked to go with us so I needed a double queen so I canceled  and now I'm staying at the nomad, got a room for 5 nights for 270 total after taxes and resort fees, couldn't pass up that deal even though it's most likely not as nice as the luxor I don't plan on being in the room much anyway.

Its 7 months away but I can't wait, we'll definitely have to get an extremeskins tailgate or gathering going, it'll be fun to put some faces to all these names.

What did you guys pay for tickets?

I was seeing $400 to sit at the very top of the stadium.  $900 for 50 yard line in the upper deck.  WTH?

Haven't gotten them yet, if they stay ridiculous my plan is just to find a nice sports bar and watch the game.

It'll stink if I can't see it live but I'm not paying a thousand dollars after fees for two nose bleed seats, that's just dumb.

I'll have plenty of fun joining all my fellow fans in taking over Vegas for the weekend even if for whatever reason I don't get to see the game live.

By comparison, on Stubhub, I'm seeing prices of $60-80  (fees included) to sit in the upper deck at FedEx for the Chargers game. Granted, that opponent is likely the one with the least demand on the home schedule, but it is the opener and goes to show, despite last year's division title and the promise of things under Rivera, how much interest in this team has fallen over the past decade or so.

I found lower bowl corner seats on Ticketmaster for $78 for the opener the other day.

Nomad isn’t bad. Was the first casino to go smoke free on the strip after covid. If anything is hella centralized and it’s cool walking around T-mobile arena which is right outside. But yeah 270 for 5 nights on a weekend is a downright steal.

I see them now at $304.  My guess is they’ll continue to come down over the summer.  Another benefit is the game is close to Christmas.  May be difficult for some to take off for both Christmas and the games.  Plus, combing the costs of the two, hopefully that impacts demand.  May be wishful thinking on my part though.

Never underestimate the demand for anything in Vegas. Also, if theres a chance the Raiders are in major contention then tickets will go up.

I’m kind of counting on them falling out of contention.  That’s why I’m glad it’s a December game instead of Fall.  That’s going to be a really tough division.  Possibly the best in the league.

Would it be a good idea to stay downtown instead of the Strip if you are carless?  Never been downtown, but my friend has never been to Vegas at all.  So I’m internally debating downtown versus Mandolin Bay area.

The other concern is NFR is happening the same time so you're already getting a mad influx of tourists in for that. It's literally happening the same time.

In terms of where to stay, it really depends on what you like to do. I'm more of a downtown/Fremont guy but mostly because all my bars are near there (Atomic) plus there are better restaurants near the DTLV area. Main Street/Arts district, where all the breweries are opening up and what's now the hot spot for the city is more or less right between the two areas. The only good thing about Bay is it's a walk across to the stadium. There's so little parking around Allegient that it's going to be a nightmare for the first season.

I'm bummed because we are STH and will miss the first two home games. We didn't have much of a choice,  as because the week of 9/12 is the only time that works for everyone going, (Vegas, baby!)

Due to the vagaries of our travel day, we won't even see the opener.  At least we'll be able to watch the Thursday night game against the VaGiants in a casino....

This is were we get screwed just about every year.

I wish somebody would do a study about the disparity in these stats over the course of the last 10 or 15 years.  It seems we are always getting screwed with scheduling of opponents in disadvantageous situations.  If there was a consistency in the  disparity over the long term, it could probably be pretty easy to prove, although I am not the one with the skills to do it.

 neutering our advantage.

Interesting choice of words. Reminds me of a regretful incident from my youthful Lothario days.

It ended with me jumping out of a second story window in my underwear to escape an outraged girlfriend threatening to "neuter my advantage" with a meat cleaver.

Those were the days...

It annoys me that we play Tampa after our bye but its also after their bye, therefore neutering our advantage.

As far as I can remember, we're usually horrendous after the bye. Haven't we lost like the last 3 pretty handedly?

Last year we had the Steelers after our bye I believe so Ron is 1-0 .  Nevermind we lost to the giants.  We played the Steelers after our Thursday game last year.

I remember a few years back getting blasted by New Orleans. It always seemed as if we were completely clueless and unprepared after a bye. As if the team took the whole two weeks off to party.

Someone did a little while back. Over 5 years or so, we were near the bottom, guess who was near the top?

Cowboys were too, as a result of their home Thursday game every year

Yeah but I believe the Giants got boned this year.

At the end of the day if you're legit good it won't matter. I remember a few years ago the Ravens were forced into like a week 3 bye and had to play 14 games in a row or something and still made the playoffs.
