Since 2012, when we drafted Giolito: Erick Fedde, Carter Kieboom, Dane Dunning, Seth Romero, Mason Denaburg, Jackson Rutledge, and Cade Cavalli. Â Jury is still out on the last three--but only Cavalli is showing right now. Rutledge hasn't been sharp in his few starts, and Denaburg has thrown about 4 pitches in his professional career. Kieboom is a bust, Fedde will be a long-reliever, Dunning is on his 3rd organization, Romero is a bust. Further more, we've gotten nothing from late round picks in years. We need to hit on this year's pick(s). We've done well in the international market-we're also linked to next years top prospect Cristian Vaquero--but our talent there is 2-3 years off, at least. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
