Remember when Candidate Trump's "National Security Expert" was shocked to discover that when somebody phones the Russian Ambassador to the US, the NSA records the phone call?

Residents push for renaming of Trump Plaza to disassociate from ex-president

While Donald Trump endures the ignominy of being the first former US president to face criminal trial, there is further humiliation brewing, with a movement to strip the Trump name from a building in his home state.

Residents at Trump Plaza, a 40-story high-rise in the suburban New York city of New Rochelle, are pushing for the building to be renamed and to escape a near-two decade association with the legally-troubled ex-president and real estate mogul.

It would follow the slew of buildings in New York City and elsewhere that have abandoned the Trump name since he entered politics, as Trump has become a divisive, much-loathed figure by liberals even as he is loved by his fans.

Owners of Trump Plaza apartments – there are 194 units – are in the middle of a vote which would further erase Trump’s name – something which would not just have implications for the people who live in the building.

Trump Plaza is located in the center of New Rochelle, a couple of blocks from restaurants and the local movie theater. Renaming the building would spare residents and workers in this racially diverse city of 80,000 people from encountering, at least visually, the Trump name.

Some people would be pleased with that.

“That would be perfect. That would be great,” said Delva Domond, 65.

Russian Who Bankrolled Trump’s Truth Social Set Up Dodgy Sex Pill Sites

The Russian who loaned Donald Trump’s social media platform Truth Social $8 million previously set up websites selling dodgy sex pills, according to records seen by The Daily Beast.

The flagship product sold by these sites, Vimax—which promises longer sex and a firmer erection—has prompted warnings from health regulators in the U.S. for containing hidden ingredients that may endanger health. The Food and Drug Administration warned consumers not to buy the supposedly natural male enhancement supplements, and told anyone who had bought the tablets to throw them out.

The sites where the pills were sold included vimaxtrialoffer.com which was registered in the name of Anton Postolnikov, 40, according to public domain ownership records.

The Russian entrepreneur, who reportedly has family links to the Kremlin, has a history of success in niche online businesses such as providing financial services to porn stars and camgirls.

Postolnikov—whose aunt is reportedly married to Aleksandr Smirnov, a former Russian deputy minister of justice and Kremlin insider—emigrated to the U.S. in 2018.

In 2021, he gave $30,000 to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Postolnikov has reportedly attracted U.S. prosecutors’ attention for the way he structured the loan to Trump’s Truth Social through Paxum and an obscure entity called “ES Family Trust.” No charges have been filed to date, and the investigation was still in preliminary stages, according to The Guardian, which first reported it.

Wire transfer documents show that Trump Media received $2 million from Paxum Bank and another $6 million from ES Family Trust. Documents obtained by the authors show that the trustee for ES Family Trust is Angel Pacheco, who reportedly listed himself as an employee of Paxum Bank on LinkedIn.

Pacheco has other connections to those involved in Trump Media. He served as a director of Foundation Card Services LLC, along with Shvartsman at least until 2023. Pacheco could not be reached for comment.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Democrats ‘Want President Trump Dead’ and He’ll Be ‘Murdered Somewhere in Jail’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) claimed that if Democrats get their way, former President Donald Trump will be “murdered in jail somewhere.”

“We could lose this thing, ladies and gentlemen,” Jones said about the 2024 election. “And God forbid Trump doesn’t win. Can you imagine what they’re going to do. They’ve said it. They’re literally going to come after the Trump supporters and the people that are seen as the opposition to the globalist plan. So, this is so serious for our republic.”

I am not registered as anything but "unaffiliated", and i am ok with that even if it means i don't get to do fun things like vote in primaries or feast on the sweet entrails of the infants and toddlers of Trump supporters like the rest of you Dems.
Save me a drumstick, though.

Trump called this visa 'very bad' for Americans. Truth Social applied for one

The social media company founded by former President Donald Trump applied for a business visa program that he sought to restrict during his administration and which many of his allies want him to curtail in a potential second term.

Trump Media & Technology Group, the company behind Truth Social, filed an application in June 2022 for an H-1B visa for a worker at a $65,000 annual salary, the lowest wage category allowed under the program. Federal immigration data shows the company was approved for a visa a few months later. The company says it did not hire the worker.

Filing for the visa sets the image of Trump the candidate, who has proposed a protectionist agenda for companies to “hire American,” in conflict with Trump the businessman, who has said his companies will use every tool at their disposal. Records show the investment firm started by Trump’s son-in-law and White House adviser, Jared Kushner, also filed an application and was approved to hire a foreigner as an associate under the same visa program.
