Look at current events, look past events, and tell me this isn’t the case?  The role of a politician is to win. Period. A politician that loses is a waiter at a restaurant, not a politician.  But a politician still has to give at least an air of morality.

 

 

You still got to be careful because if you do some real crazy **** at some point you are going to lose because too many people will be over you, the politicians on your side can’t stand with you, and you lose. Or you get shot. The role of a politician is to win.

Your views lack integrtity, not because of who your team is, but because YOUR values lack integrity. The constant refrain of left vs right has nothing to do with personal integrity.. has nothing o do with the values you believe.
YOU. As in "PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY". Your integrity is the one who sits here and says it's smart for a criminal to continue to wreck our country through the constant lies and obstructions. YOUR integrity is the one that says a politician's job is to get elected and how is secondary, because his job is to be a politician. That is the lack of integrity that has me speaking to you personally. ( Although you are certainly not alone in this that has caused to us stoop so low. )
Only you are responsible for your views. The "right / left" is a convenient blanket to hide under and not have to face that fact.

The differences between how a politician IS and how they should BE flies right over your head, because you think that how they behave is how they SHOULD. One reason i left the only party i ever belonged to was their complete lack of ability to demand BETTER than what they complain so loudly about. There is no desire to be better. only to BE, scorch the earth behind and hold power.

Your opening paragraph above is nothing but an excuse for this reprehensible behavior. A politician is a PUBLIC SERVANT. To do OUR BIDDING and be OUR VOICE. In our system, a politician is not meant o be a career position to lie and abuse. it is a position of representation, to be held by those among us as a SERVICE, a sacred DUTY.
If they can't do that with integrity then they SHOULD be a ****ing waiter. How the hell you can't see that is well beyond me, but then again so it is for everyone left still defending them. A sucker, a fool, and a servile little thrall that absolutely has no desire for integrity.

Instead these suckers, these people with ridiculous values and absent integrity keep voting for them, and then endlessly defending their crooked actions.

Fair enough. Integrity is an opinion. My integrity deals with the way things are.. Yours is based on ideals and fantasy... Aspiration.  I agree we have different morals.

Trump should be impeached because the mueller report makes it pretty clear that he obstructed justice. But he won’t be, because democrats are too afraid it will cost them votes. That proves my reasoning is on point more than anything.

If Fox News and Right-wing "media" outlets were around during Nixon at the level they are now, he likely is never impeached.  Back then it happened because it was the right thing to do, as it is today. The difference is that you have a media machine that creates the alternative reality of which Trump supporters exist in.  Liberals are sometimes confined to their own bubble as well, but that tends to be more on specific social issues rather than an actual alternative reality when it comes to verified factual information. (But again, not always). 

 

Hell, to take it a step further, if the GOP leaders followed through in 2019 with how they thought of Trump in 2016? He'd have been gone a long time ago.
