TheDoyler23
I'd love to see what Statcast thinks of the Mancini diving catch. Hard to time a jump better.

Bang
Great win. It's one thing to win 8-7 but 1-0 in 13 shows a lot of the tenacity it will take to push on through October. Let's go ORIOLES! ~Bang
TheDoyler23
Oh Trumbo just pelted Stroman with a liner to the pitching elbow. Oh damn that looked bad for a second.

SkinFanInMinn
You want to knock out the starting pitcher, but not quite like that. Ouch.
TheDoyler23
Apparently the offense is taking the night off.

Spaceman Spiff
Yeah, it doesn't look good tonight. This team doesn't quit but the offense has suddenly gone silent. Had a great opportunity tonight by knocking Stroman out early and getting into their bullpen but it doesn't matter. Better get their **** together before the Yankees come in on Monday. TheDoyler23
Yea I guess no matter then. After a 13 inning game yesterday, the first guy out of the pen is a million year minor leaguer making his MLB debut. I thought the boys were going to drop this one because of Stroman. Had no idea they would knock him out in the second and then get baffled all night by garbage, nondescript AAAA relievers.
Spaceman Spiff
I hope Hersh remembered where he was when Chance Sisco made his big league debut so he can tell his children about it during his Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

There was a great show in the early 90s called "Dream On" where, if you were lucky, you could see a full boob or two when spending the night at a friends house in the 6th grade. DCSaints_fan
Last time Jimenez faced Toronto, he pitched an 2-hit, 8-inning shutout. Yeah the last few times he's pitched he's gotten rocked, but he's had better starts alot more recently that Tillman has, who hasn't had a good start since July
DM72
First pitch at 92. That's a good sign.
thebluefood
Just popping my head in to say your Birds are looking mighty impressive right now. Gone 8-2 in their last 10 and still very much in the Wild Card Hunt. Tough team - hope that determination pays off for them come October. Still holding out hope for a Beltway Series before too long. Hersh
Neither Tillman nor Ubaldo should be in the rotation anymore. Miley may actually be pitching his way to the O's picking up his option. He's turned it around recently though he's still super inefficient.
