Destino
I'm clearly missing something. When I hear news of a billionaire right winger extending tax benefits to a specific corporation my mind does not go to Hugo Chavez.
LadySkinsFan
Also, is he going to impose a 35% tariff on Trump products? I mean, fair is fair after all.
mcsluggo
picking winners, and saying that private sector firms will face punative taxes and fees if they try to invest overseas instead of at home doesn't make you think of Kirhener and Chavez...? what DOES then? In Chavez's case it would take something drastic. The guy is known for destroying Venezuela's democratic institutions and the nationalization of many businesses. I just don't look at Trump and think "dangerous socialist."

Dan T.
So Ford, then Carrier, and now Boeing... how do free-market Republicans feel about a President-elect of the United States injecting himself into the business decisions of American companies on a case-by case basis? Sure think some of those struggling rural Americans could benefit from working and not relying on government handouts? Personally don't care who he staffs and I support his right to hire immigrants. I wasn't the one who ran on an anti-immigration, anti-globalization agenda.
