picking winners, and saying that private sector firms will face punative taxes and fees if they try to invest overseas instead of at home doesn't make you think of Kirhener and Chavez...?

what DOES then?

In Chavez's case it would take something drastic.  The guy is known for destroying Venezuela's democratic institutions and the nationalization of many businesses.  I just don't look at Trump and think "dangerous socialist."

Socialists and fascists are just opposite sides of the same coin.

I think they overstate Trump's excesses....but vigilance is good.

So Ford, then Carrier, and now Boeing... how do free-market Republicans feel about a President-elect of the United States injecting himself into the business decisions of American companies on a case-by case basis?

Silly. They only complain when a Democrat is paying the auto industry not to go bankrupt.

If the left had any coordinated media attack plan, you would hear about this for the rest of the year. Instead, it'll be old news tomorrow.

Pretty sure Trump will say or do something else that will twist their knickers more than that soon.

Perpetual outrage :ols:

It's not outrage nor amusing. It's just pointing out how much this guy doesn't really care about American workers.

Is it him or the folks that made the rules he operates under?

I'm amused at the outrage from those that enabled what he is doing.

No one is stopping him from hiring Americans. Plenty in his business employ Americans for service industry jobs. Sure think some of those struggling rural Americans could benefit from working and not relying on government handouts?

Personally don't care who he staffs and I support his right to hire immigrants. I wasn't the one who ran on an anti-immigration, anti-globalization agenda. :rofl89:

I'm amused at how casually you dismiss personal responsibility.
