Horn blows. That's it for day 3. Loud cheers from the crowd.

Seems like any tweet involving Colt hasn't been good for him.

@DeadeyeDunkan @SteveThaCannon_ Robbie, did Colt McCoy look good at any point? most tweets were negative plays on his part.

McCoy threw an INT to Toler towards the end of practice. Another strong day from the secondary.

After the "spirited" practice today, I'm sure HC Jay Gruden had a lot to say to his players… https://www.instagram.com/p/BIf-6sHhBno/

But covering Jordan Reed is tougher.

Jordan Reed and Matt Jones just came back out on the field. Working on cutting while a coach holds him back on a suspension belt.

One thing that stood out: #Redskins DE Stephen Paea in individual pass rush drills. Cofield: "Like he's shot out of a cannon. So strong."

IS TONY romoSUCKS FAT? AN INVESTIGATION #httr #redskins http://buff.ly/2aDiXpM

KELY DIVEN, CSN MID-ATLANTIC

Is Cowboys quarterback Tony romoSUCKS fat? That's the question of the day on the NFL Internet.

It all started with this photo of the 36-year-old jogging onto the field at the start of training camp.

ICYMI: Facing DeSean Jackson forces learning curve for Josh Norman

@DebateWith0Hate @RealSkipBayless I think he swallowed Skip, instead of the other way around.

Post practice article are hitting BRBN as you are reading this

--The Redskins got a 2-for-1 with the Norman signing - I haven't seen Jackson this motivated in a training camp ever. He's a different man when he's up against Norman, and the work Jackson is doing now bodes well for his regular-season preparedness.

Matt Bowen Retweeted John Keim

This is a good read on Norman vs. DeSean Jackson during 1-on-1s at camp.

Keith Marshall had a few bad reps, but did well against Perry Riley off the edge. Waited patiently for Riley to come to him, ran him past QB

Had the best interview w/ @DeSeanJackson11 today (airing tomorrow) despite all the interruptions. Here's a few..

The Redskins will have to piece together their backup outside linebacker situation. None have stood out but each offers something. Houston Bates hasn't won a lot of rushes but probably is better suited to stopping the run. He's worked with the starters with Preston Smith attending a funeral. But the other primary options there are more suited to pass rush specialists such as Willie Jefferson. The Redskins will need to keep an eye on the waiver wire as they try to full Junior Gallete's roster spot.

Corner Bashaud Breeland made another big play this afternoon. Receiver Maurice Harris ran a wheel route from the inside and had maybe a half step on Breeland. But Breeland turned at the last second and intercepted the Kirk Cousins pass. Breeland hasn't been perfect but he continues to stand out.

So Djax is beating him in camp.  I'm not suprised, and what Norman and others are saying about DJax still having elite speed shouldn't be overlooked.

It takes a good team to hold a guy like that or Antonio Brown in check (hence the secondary overhaul).  But holy crap, what does that say about Djax that he's able to get away from Norman like that on non-fly routes?  Freakin monster, man.

Since OTAs, really, I've been absolutely ecstatic with this back and forth we have going on between the offense and defense. One day offense has a good day, the next day the defense shuts them down, the next it's the offense, and so on.

We've never had this. It's always been "the defense is ahead of the offense as usual".

Essentially, each side has answers for the other. It's awesome.
