What? Your better off signing him to a long term deal than having to franchise him next year. The guy is one of the best OL in the league.

 

Helps explain why Hall is playing with the ones I guess.

 

 

It's embarrassing watching 15K Patriot fans running to find a spot along the fence in MA. And the picture above of our fans arriving at TC have 3 people in them. This fan base may be falling apart faster than I thought.

 

Let's see how many show up to their camp after the B & B show ends. In the 70s to the 90s, the Patriots were a nothing franchise who didn't draw 100 flies to Sullivan Stadium.  Funny how that winning SBs thing turns out fans.

If you get popped for weed/PEDs in the NFL, you deserve to get punished. They [NFL] literally go out of their way to help guys pass their drug tests.  

He didn't fail a drug test. He was cited for minor possesion by the police.

This defensive front 7 could be awesome. I'm staying even keel, but that is quite the lineup, especially with the best true NT in the game taking over the middle (and especially since we Skins fans have never seen a true NT on our 3-4).

They better be in the top half of defenses. There is no reason this should be a bottom dwelling group.

:blink:  I understand, as pj said, that the Saints are still paying the guy, but to have him come to the SKINS for league minimum when 6 other teams were still out there? That's a good deal by McC.

Getting Galette on the minimum for 2015 with matching rights for 2016 is an awfully good deal for the Redskins. Risk is mitigated.

Trent has missed 1 game in the last 3 years. I think that's 6 games over a 5 year career. I'm not sure what else you want him to "prove".

 

EDIT: Oops, that's actually only 5 games from injury that he's missed in his career.

As my original post pointed out.  He's as tough as they get. He does play through injury.  But, when ailing, he is not a top 5 OL.  I am not savy enough on the internet to find how many games he played with a hurt knee, ankle, both or other injury, I just know it happens often.   I want him to "prove" he can stay healthy enough through a season to play as a top 5 offensive lineman EVERY game.  I think we are officially beating a dead horse...I may be alone in my fears, and I do hope I am wrong.

Oh wow, that's right. Now I remember. Still pretty dumb. Hopefully, he lets his boys do all the handling and shipping from now on.

Breeland suspended for the first game of the season for having weed a year ago.

 

 

Marijuana is legal is several states. It is not a PED. The NFL is waaay behind on this issue.

 

Other than those several states, the entire country is behind on this issue.

 

I'm actually excited about our CBs this year. Am I crazy for that??

I've been saying this for years...we need a true NT and a bonafide FS. The middle of our defense has been lacking for a long time. Loved Cofield, but he was not the answer while he was here.
