If Murphy ends up being a beast, I will never again criticize a draft pick immediately after it happens. Ever.

You know, until we make another stupid pick.

I'm in this camp as well. I haven't been the biggest fan of the Murphy pick. Thought there where other OL that would have been better choices over him, but if the guy works out and is as much of a beast as he appears in shorts, then I have no problem with saying I was wrong!

For some reason this is the single thing I took out of everything on the last 3 pages...well this and my man Trent Murphy is going to be awesome...

To address that, I will say Cooley yesterday was going on and on about Roberts and how he has looked at camp. He is saying he is standing out, working hard and making it hard for anyone to displace him at the no. 3 spot. HE also mentioned that one play, it's one play.

I heard they are making the lineman that jumps run a lap. If they want that plan to work they should make everyone else run while the one that moves watch and see how long the ones running don't take care of the problem

I have been on both ends of the above tactic as a player and a coach. Its VERY effective though I will say I did stop getting birthday cards when I started doing this as a coach ...

I've seen it done with kickers as well - make this kick or the whole team runs wind sprints. You can lose a kicker doing that of course.

Probably because of all the rumors that started to surround RG3 during the 2013 season. The former HC was a very connected guy, and you could tell immediately, especially when guys like Trent Dilfer and Steve Young would ever talk about him. And I have no doubt that other coaches and GM's around the league were hearing things too.

How will everyone feel if Cousins ends up as the 3rd string QB this season?

I sort of feel like that's how it will start out cause Gruden seems to have a man crush on McCoy. I simply have no idea what they see in a QB that really can't throw the ball past 15 yards.

This entire year should be about Griffin and Cousins. You have to see if either guy is capable of being 16 game starter and those two should be competing for the job. McCoy is not a 16 game starter. Period.

Agreed on McCoy. I think the fact that he is the oldest of our 3 QB's is a factor. Winning the Dallas game on Monday night when no one thought we would could also be taken into account. Think maybe Gruden sees more of himself in McCoy, being an ex-Arena League QB maybe?

But our starter? No please...
